Hey Guinea Pigs....ONE VISA HAS ARRIVED!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀 So apparently the system does work. My wife is still in the "approved" stage, but obviously we feel much better now. We had to resubmit the passport photo 2 times for her so far. We will see!

Most people are struggling. The process just started and good info to fill out the document requirements is not there (yet), But a few people, included ourselves, have completed the necessary documentation----and we are now pending final review. Which should take a few more days or more...;) -

Try to fly down previous day, period. The HAL terminals are NOT necessarily next to each other. They can be far apart and not walkable. Also, the terminal that they are assigned can change...just keep that in mind. It is a BIG port. Best wishes and you will have a great time!

Applied, still pending. The only document they questioned was the bank statement. We need to reupload some different information, but they did not tell us what that means, lol.

You can apply now. As long as your itinerary has YOUR dates on them. The 90 days is valid from first day in Brazil, not 90 days from applying or being accepted....

So with HIA can/do/should our Room Stewards bring water, etc to fill the mini-bar with the drinks we choose??? We often get the mini-bar emptied but never tried to refill with HIA. Thanks.

Not that this helps much, but two notes: 1. The website is slower this weekend. Or not working at times. 2. Holland America sent a note to put ship itinerary instead of the airplane arrival info. We have submitted, but have not heard back.

What do you put in the field that asks about arrival information, ie, by airplane. There is not an option for arrival by ship????

We take kits with us always with travel. The only place I ever got covid was on a HAL ship.

I recall that there are 2 decks, aft, connected by outside steps in the back. Small, cozy.

Can you get a shuttle/taxi/uber to the cruise port DIRECTLY from the Rental Car Center. Or do you have to go to a terminal to get one. We are dropping a car off there... Thanks.

Zaandam Amazon was moved to Miami departure, returning FLL for 2024. For 2025 it is round trip Miami.
