  1. It means across the Carnival Cruise Lines fleet. It is very rare that a change occurs across the Carnival Corp fleet, nearly unprecedented. Imagine Cunard no longer offering afternoon tea for example.
  2. No, it being the only thing to eat on the entire ship is the problem.
  3. When the supper buffet closes, the only food options will be Deli or Pizza. When Deli closes, the only option will be Pizza. The same pizza line will also serve Stouffer's lasagna unless they separate it out somehow.
  4. I thought you said no immediate changes, Josh?
  5. It's not wasted or thrown away, it feeds the fish.
  6. I haven't cruised since the hang tags went away due to the now-permanent staffing issues. So if I want my breakfast delivered at say 7:30, how would I do that? Do I have to call it in the morning and hope they are on-time, or can I call it in the night before and ask for delivery at 7:30?
  7. That's just what they're calling the extra menu items they add to the Pizza Pirate/del Capitano menu from 11PM-1:30AM. The pizza place starts serving Stouffer's lasagna etc.
  8. "It doesn't affect me so it is meaningless and your complaint is invalid"
  9. No, the late night snacks buffet is gone. In its place, pizza pirate/del capitano will be serving salads etc.
  10. It's starting out to be about the size of Amber Cove but eventually I'm sure they could add more docks (or even tendering operations) for a third vessel if demand exists. There is plenty of land in this area. I guess they just don't want to bite off more than they can chew at once.
  11. The late night snacks buffet is probably the biggest loss to me. That horrible pizza line after the last comedy show lets out is about to be even worse. I'm sure the next cutback will be the end of free continental breakfast delivery due to lack of popularity. Go to the buffet or dining room if you want breakfast.
  12. The only place bacon has been self-serve since at least 2018 was Guy's Burgers toppings bar, and on Lido buffet when they had baked potatoes - where they had bacon bits. Other than that it's been rationed out a few strips at the time for years.
  13. Typically yes, and actually on one of my recent Sunshine cruises the first night's comedy was in the Liquid Lounge (the main lounge) with both comedians as a double header. It was great!
  14. The issue is not that bacon is expensive and Carnival is trying to control food waste. But don't lie to us and say it's due to a shortage. Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining.
  15. I wonder if the propulsion issue Horizon had last year was more serious and the repair done was a bandaid until drydock but it requires more engine power, leaving less for HVAC. Just a guess.
  16. Yes your room steward can give you everything you need to take advantage of your free laundry service. Also, don't forget to call Cherries on Top for your free Chocolate Delight if you want it.
  17. My most recent cruise they used the Deli's fries, but tossed in Guy's seasoning. They were okay. Before they used a frozen thick-cut fry that was mushy and bland. I wish they'd go back to the original fries from back in the day.
  18. You'll just have to go on another cruise to try whatever you don't have time to order.
  19. It's not going to show in your cruise manager or anywhere since it's strictly a Casino comp. You have to reach out to either the casino department (google Ocean Players Club to find their website) or call your PVP/TA/Carnival and ask them.
  20. you can if you want. you can also order multiple items in one sitting. whatever works for you.
  21. Yes, actually to quote the Guy's burger cook on the Freedom when I was on it - there is a "bacon crisis" Bacon is never coming back to the buffet daily. As we all know there is not nor has there ever been a bacon shortage. It's a shortage of bacon at the price Carnival wants to pay. But that is nothing new. They've been rationing bacon for years. They're cutting back on food in other ways too - I don't think I've received a whole baked potato in the MDR on any of my 3 cruises since the restart. Don't get me wrong, for the most part I love Carnival's product - but they have seriously cheapened their product in the past few years and cranked it up to 11 post COVID.
  22. Is there a craps table in the non-smoking annex casino?
  23. I know what you're talking about and have done that. But some on here reported being able to withdraw cash against your S&S at the S&S kiosks. I have not tried so I can't say for sure.
