    If you're in the room watching TV then you're not at a bar drinking, in the casino gambling, etc. So that explains why there ain't much on the TV.

    How did they get through COVID so much easier than Carnival? Simply because they had fewer ships and thus lower fixed costs?

    If Carnival Corp dies then I don't see how any cruise line survives.

    Is CCL (the cruise line) profitable? Or is it still losing money as well? I don't know if they specified in their report.

    The Alaska sailings have been very attractively priced this year. Sadly like others, I just couldn't make it work to get to the left coast this year.

    Hot tea (I believe the available varieties are Lipton black and green teas), regular and decaf coffee, hot chocolate, iced tea and lemonade are all available for free. On Lido, in the dining room, and via room service. And yes if you bring on your own favorite tea bags you can get hot water from any of those places to brew your own tea.

    This is how it worked for my wife and I on our last cruise last month as well. In our case we didn't have to take a copy of the offer to the host, it was applied automatically for both of us. But it never hurts to bring a copy of the offer just in case.

    They make big money on the photos on elegant night. Like smoking in the casino, elegant nights will be around for a while yet.

    Yeah I have had too many sour milk cartons I don't even try them anymore. I guess they sit on the dock too long waiting to get loaded and get hot maybe? They're never out of date, just sour.

    I believe they will make you one by request. I don't know what kind of meat alternatives are available though. Black bean, gardenburger, impossible, etc. - so many options these days.

    I don't think any of the ships are 100% fully staffed right now. But it's getting better every cruise and they're doing their best to put the crew where they're needed most. For example they closed Cucina for supper to put more crew in MDR and Lido.

    No just put your card in the slot machine and tell it how much you want to draw out of your S&S account. It will automatically draw from your OBC first.

    They could do a similar thing late at night as well. I think the grab and go food options encourage waste though. People grab four and only eat one or grab it just because it's there and never eat it at all. I've seen it first-hand with the milk cartons on Lido.

    You can spend the OBC in the casino no problem. If you're looking to get cash. Have heard that you can just get cash out of the kiosks now. Have not tried this however.

    Oohh, a hot dog would be good! I think back in the days of the "on the grill" on Lido that preceded Guy's they served hot dogs. But you know, the Deli serves hot dogs now!

    You could have made a few of the burgers on the menu by going to the toppings bar too. It's just another option and a cheap way to refresh the product a little bit without having to make any major changes to the way Guy's runs.

    I always just toss my fan in my beach bag along with other sundry items - a few cans of Coke Zero, important meds, etc. They run it through the x-ray, usually want to look at the cans of soda, and send me on my way. You may also want a drop cord depending on the ship you are sailing as the outlet locations are not always convenient.

    Make sure his phone is charged on embarkation day, because the photos of the ship sailing away from the dock can be incredible.

    It's almost like the state department pays a commission the way people oversell passports on this site.

    As long as you're cruising in off-peak times Sunshine is great. During peak times (basically when school is out) they might as well change the name of the ship to Sunlines. The Lido and lounges are far too small for the ship's capacity when she's full.

    I'd like to see Carnival start by swapping the smoking and non-smoking casinos on the ships that have two casinos.

    I don’t see any benefit to using one at all. I don’t understand why it would even be a Question for you after she cancelled a cruise without asking.
