  1. Cruising is not just a vacation, learning about the industry and sharing that knowledge is also a hobby for many of us here. It's all part of this forum.
  2. I guess it's possible but the first google result for carnival cheers mocktails is a Cruise Critic post that says they're covered. Second result is the FAQ page.
  3. Things may be different on Craps. On Blackjack they've always swapped out my funplay tokens for chips on a win.
  4. Nope, if you win they swap out your funplay chips for "real" chips. So in that example you'd get $25 (to replace the funplay) plus the winnings. If you lose they just take the funplay chips. Either way, the funplay is only good for one use.

  6. I don't know, a mocktail being non-alcoholic is kind of the point of it existing to begin with. OP just wanted to ask here instead of looking up the answer on their own. It's not complicated.
  7. Assuming a normal day you should be onboard by Noon. But probably earlier.
  8. It's the same thing. Mocktail is just a Valley Girl way of saying non-alcoholic drink.
  9. I understand there is a maximum of 15 drinks a day for the CHEERS! program. With the enhanced program, do non-alcoholic drinks count toward this total? Sodas and other applicable non-alcoholic beverages remain unlimited and will not be counted toward the 15 alcoholic beverages limit, and all other policies and procedures remain the same. Guests are expected to enjoy alcohol responsibly and staff members are trained not to serve guests who appear to be intoxicated.

  11. True enough - but look at what Jubilee (and Galveston in general) is selling for versus what the cruises are going for in Long Beach.
  12. Is that enough to keep the ship sailing full and profitable year round?
  13. I see the prices on the menu now. So Carnival's additional fee food is no longer a good value.
  14. Good thing you are aware of the 0 and 00 positions on the wheel! Many people overlook those.
  15. The funplay has no cash value. You have to spend it all. If you get cash well then it's cash and you can do whatever you want with it.
  16. True, they just said best of the 6 on the list (half of which are Carnival Corp brands...hmmm). Still tough to believe for me but then again, I'm not a guy with a blog about credit card points.
  17. Mailing a bad check is mail fraud - so this is a fairly big deal. I agree, call your county solicitor or magistrate or whatever they're called in your area.
  18. I'll have to dig up the thread but in fairness it was only one person I've read who had their account deactivated for doing this.
  19. So "better than decent" is all it takes to be the best food at sea huh? Wow.
  20. So yeah like I said as long as there's enough to do for everyone to spread the crowd around, 65 acres is plenty. HMC could never support that many ships without serious renovations - even if they built a pier, because there's not enough to do there except the beach.
  21. How many acres is the public area of one excel class ship? If there's enough to do to spread out the crowds, 65 acres is plenty.
  22. For the past several years, I've called my PVP, TA, or the general 1-800 number to have these things processed on the spot vs. filling out the form.
  23. Far better to just buy the amount of cruise cash you think you'll need and spend it. I wouldn't mess with the casino. There are reports on here of folks who had their S&S accounts frozen for doing that.
  24. If you buy them cruise cash on Carnival.com fun shops, it is nonrefundable. If they don't spend all the cruise cash the remaining amount is forfeited. Cruise cash is not a gift card If you buy them a Carnival gift card from Lowe's or Cherry on Top onboard or AARP or any other source, whatever amount of the gift card they don't use stays on the gift card.
