We also recently booked this cruise for August 2023 and did a lot of research on how to get to Seward from Anchorage. We opted for the train and did upgrade to the Gold Star Dome. NCL offers this as an excursion, but we booked it directly as we wanted the earlier train.

In Joy Haven this past February and had umbrella and no binoculars. There was also an umbrella in our non-Haven Suite a few weeks ago also on the Joy.

Another question: I know this change goes into effect January 1, 2023, but if you booked a cruise before the price increase but sail after January 1st, do you still get the water?

So if you have two in the cabin taking the PBP, the free six pack of water comes out to $28? Or do you get two six packs?

I see that there are another sites Alaskatrain.com, Alaskarailroad.com or Alaskatours.com. but I believe they are vendors. Also, if we take the earlier train, the luggage will definitely be tagged for our cruise as I see NCL offers the later train.

I could be mistaken, but I believe Haven goes first, then people with physical disabilities. When we last traveled with my dad, we had to wait until after Haven boarded.

At first, I did not think I would like the idea of the same menu every night, but after seeing the menu, I do like it better. For us, there are good options (dessert could be better). In the past, I always had to research what nights we wanted to eat in the MDR based on the menu. When we stayed in the Haven this past February, we ate there four times, and I got the same meal three times.

How much is it if you get permission to invite a non-Haven guest to join you for diner in the Haven?

I thought the same thing when we boarded the Joy two weeks ago. They also used that parking for the overflow then.
