I'm curious to hear how Marigot is as far as shops and restaurants. I know they were badly damaged several years ago by one of the hurricanes. We went in 2019 and it hadn't recovered very much - just a few shops open. It's such a lovely town, I'm hoping it's improved since then.

May I ask who you booked your tour with? We are coming into Ravenna the day before our cruise and plan on seeing the sights. A guided tour would be nice!

I assume St. John USVI and we have done it on our own before. I see that the ferry from Charlotte Amalie only runs a few times each way. But we are there until 6 so that may work. Just wondering how OP @dock felt the ship excursion was 🙂

Also, on your excursion through Celebrity to St. John was that "St. John on your own" or a different one? Thank you!

Thank you for sharing your travels with all of us! Your photos are amazing. I have a question about your SV on this portion of your journey. I have heard sailing in to some of the Adriatic ports can be breathtaking. Are you able to enjoy the sail in or would you have to go to a different area of the ship to get a good view?

You have motivated me to look at booking an Italy, Croatia and Montenegro cruise! I had forgotten we had one booked in May of 2020 which of course was cancelled. Your photos are beautiful! It looks like we would definitely want a good balcony view for the arrivals into port!

Looking forward to your Live review! We have good friends who will be cruising with you so it will be fun to see the cruise through your eyes since they won’t post much while they are away. Enjoy the warm temperatures! Also, we loved Grand Case! We rented a car and went to Rainbow restaurant where we had beach chairs, umbrellas and a delicious lunch! I’m sure you will have a great time!

We had 2 chairs a table and 2 loungers. Our butler said the people who had this cabin before probably requested the loungers as that is not typical. But they stayed! Balcony/Window View/Obstruction: When the magic carpet is on 14 and you are at the balcony rail you can see the bottom of it. (See picture) Balcony Overhang?: Magic Carpet Issues?: See above under obstruction Noise Issues?: Creaking as reported in other Beyond cabins, but not bad enough to lose sleep over. When we were on the beyond a few weeks ago, my DH was so disappointed in the NY Strip Steak our first night in Luminae. He said it was more like a roast. I think I've seen that reported before but had forgotten. Curious if any in your party had this entree? Or heard comments about it during your cruise.

We were on the Beyond Jan 8-15 in a Sky Suite and sure miss the wonderful people we met in the Retreat lounge and Luminae. Smeliania (sp?) from Montenegro in Luminae was our assistant waiter and we really enjoyed getting to know her. I hope you have a wonderful cruise!

I'm glad you posted about your experience visiting the QEII Botanical Gardens. I really wanted to go there on our last cruise but the timing/cost for private driver/bus route made me nervous about the trip. Actually I never heard back from the private driver the Garden suggested. Oh well, maybe next trip! We have a membership to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin and the QEII is a reciprocal garden so our entry would have been free!

I just read your post about losing your friend to cancer. I'm so sorry for your loss, but glad that she was able to wish you a Bon Voyage before your trip. We love the World Class Bar and I really like the seats shown in your picture! Can't wait to try it out on the Beyond! Everyone looks great in their Great Gatsby attire!
