Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It's nice to hear your take on the IV. I don't mind it at all, but my husband really didn't like it when we sailed on the Edge. We are going on the Beyond in January in a Magic Carpet Sky Suite. Maybe he will like the suite balcony so much, he will want to only sail in suites on Edge class 😂

I'm not sure, but if you move it yourself you might be charged as if you drank it. I've always asked for everything to be removed then we fill with what we pick up from bars. It's also nice to have water for shore excursion days in your fridge. Usually they have a water table set up near debarkation, but sometimes not!

I felt the same way when we took our first post-pandemic cruise in 2021! Such a great feeling to be back to cruising ❤️

Wonderful photos! We were in Rome in 2019 and really enjoyed the city. We stayed close to the Pantheon too. Hope your dinner was delicious!

We enjoy doing shore excursions - either through the ship or private - so it was nice to follow along to get ideas when we do this itinerary in the future 🤞 I also appreciate your Hawaiian islands review! We may check out the Alohilani next time we are on Oahu. It's nice to have some meal options included in your hotel stay. Wishing you a safe trip back home!

We have sailed with her as Captain on the Summit, Equinox and Edge. None of those were planned with her in mind. We sail on the Beyond in January so maybe we’ll get to sail with her again 😂 I do agree she adds positivity to the ship so it would be a nice treat if it does happen!

We sailed on the Summit in 2018 and had the greatest waiter, Marcelino. He played the guitar and would serenade his tables! Then for the grand entrance of lobster night he would also be in line playing! He made our dinners truly memorable. Along with a woman taking selfies of herself all through dinner at the next table! lol

I'm looking at different snorkeling options in french Polynesia and found this topic. I see water shoes mentioned. I have 2 types. One is a Teva sandal the other is the inexpensive water shoe with a mesh top and rubber bottom. Is one of these types what is preferred or do either work? TIA

@GenerationX I finally finished your review! I had to pause for a trip to Colorado 🙂 I really love all of your menu item tips, I've made note of them for future cruises. One thing I didn't see is where did you get your fabulous pink evening chic dress? Love it!!
