@MeganGC1983....enjoy the late night dining while you can. A hazard of aging is that the body does not tolerate late night food like it did when one is younger. I found out....now I understand why us old folks eat early! Have a blast!

I hear you and understand, but on the other hand I commend @MeganGC1983 a lot. She seems to be a pretty well balanced woman who knows how to be a great mom to her kids and when it is time for her and DH to just have fun on their own. It is not easy balancing home life, work life, kid life and your own life! I figure this cruise will be the family side of @MeganGC1983and there will be plenty of 15+ Cheers cruises for her down the road!

Hey I'm retired, lived in Florida for 40+ years and LEFT the state when I retired, got too darn crowded!

@Saint Greg.....a few pages back I listed a link to a review I am following on HAL. Oops...I think that link was posted on The TRIBE page, sorry. I mention this because I thought you might want to take a look at the first few pages as this couple did a land tour BEFORE their cruise. It will give you a good idea of places to visit during an interior visit to Alaska, something right up your alley like you did in Seattle for your precruise days. Alaska is HUGE and a cruise just covers the southeastern portion.....IMO Denali National Park is a MUST for anyone who enjoys the outdoors and wildlife. Glad you are feeling better!
