As long as people, groups, travel agents, whatever book them in advance, keep raising the price. The ship can always offer them for less if not sold out. Sort of what they do with Loft 19 now. -

The casino offers certainly helped get the cash flow going when cruising restarted and the casinos are part of continuing operations, but optimization won't hurt. Carnival needs to consider all areas for cost containment. The Wild West is over. -

They're not making any money, in fact losing, according to the latest numbers and still have over $30 billion in debt. Carnival needs to be more discriminating in who gets free/discounted cabins and increase onboard spend. -

Carnival doubled the price of bottle water overnight. I blame the people cruising on free or nearly free cabins for all of this. -
The sun might not come up tomorrow, what then? If you have already received more in OBC than the stock cost, so what? Even a bankruptcy is not a guarantee the stock goes to zero.

One jerk even had the audacity to try to light a cigar, which isn't allowed anyway. His attitude toward me (everybody is smoking) disappeared when an attendant told him to knock it off. His suddenly became very apologetic knowing he was on thin ice. -

Like telling them to stop or leave The smoke in the non-smoking sections is nothing like it used to be and isn't an issue at all one the newest Carnival ships. Several Carnival ships have non-smoking casino rooms that are completely separate from the main casino. -

The bet there is that the stock won't increase in price between cruises or each OBC will cause you to risk more and more. And if you sell at a loss and then buy again there can be issues.

It really isn't that cold. I was on an Antarctica cruise a couple of months ago and spent a lot of time on my balcony. It was warmer and less crowded than up on deck.
