  1. The pizza places are no longer 24 hours. Some might have a pour your own beer stations near and on Mardi Gras and Celebration you might be able to - you can buy sodas, water, and maybe beer, as I recall.
  2. If I had this issue I would ask at the hostess stand if it was a private table before I took another step. Of course, you could still end up in a two top next to your neighbors.
  3. The shows were well attended and I found entertaining. Late comedian shows were in the the main show lounge.
  4. I played it safe and went with the fish which has always been good. Drink service was slow to start, but after a while I was grabbing a drink of any variety from any tray that went by. I was lucky to find my way back to the cabin. I played it safe on food and went with the fish which has always been good.
  5. as I understand it, the Diamond luncheon menu is changing John Heald had posted to: APPETIZER PROSCIUTTO CRUDO* thinly shaved, melon, torn mozzarella, berry vinaigrette SHRIMP Emeril’s New Orleans-style barbecue shrimp CAESAR SALAD homemade dressing, croûton, parmesan ENTRÉES CIOPPINO fisherman’s stew, garlic bread FILET MIGNON* tender cut, petite carrot, roasted spinach mushroom, mashed potato, smoked shallot jus RICOTTA RAVIOLI sun-dried tomato, truffle oil, aged parmesan, spinach, mushroom jerky DESSERT CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT ICEBOX PIE Oreo crust, dulce de leche sauce CANTALOUPE PANNA COTTA raspberry mint coulis, ginger crisp – Sugar Free FRESH FRUIT & Cleveland pineapple sorbe And Richard adds” It will be changed each quarter in order to keep it fresh. 6. I waited for sanity to return, walked right in, and ended up with a great seat. It was the standard menu with the hit or miss strip steak.
  7. Today was one of the two Diamond luncheons (so many Diamonds they had to split into two). Just in case the ship ran out of food, some Diamonds began lining up at least 30 minutes before the start time. Too funny.
  8. There were a few defects in my cabin. It didn't bother me enough to report or I'm sure they would have been fixed. If you see something, say something, or don't whine about it later.
  9. Never has Carnival tried to seat me with a group when not requested and I think only once on the 14 day cruise I just finished was I seated close to anyone else. Of course, my meal time preferences don't coincide with the most popular times. I find Carnival staff to be very attentive and will quickly learn your preferences and needs if you let them be known.
  10. Does your phone show your luggage is there? If you go wandering in port and get lost, you can use your luggage last location to find your way back to the ship!
  11. I often find it cheaper to go buy my own drinks. On my recent cruise, I overheard someone complaining about a lack of service and I was obligated to point out that many servers were busy handing out free drinks at the P/D parties that were going on
  12. It is still dead. Carnival has removed items in the past and rotated them back in at a later date. The delicious flamin' tomato soup is a recent example.
  13. The Chia Pet Pudding was removed months ago. I still find plenty of deliciousness to consume. The hours were reduced to "end" at noon, but everyone who checks in before noon is still seated and served. Food is still being served well after noon.
