  1. Don't sweat the small stuff. I don't believe it is sold out at all. Check periodically.
  2. Booked. I should also have Internet anywhere I can pick up land cell service, which may also be slim.
  3. Perhaps you are the Mobile for cruise directors? Or maybe Carnival is changing the retirement benefits?
  4. I will be doing an "Almost Live" from Infinity (Internet willing)
  5. I will try here and there. Last time I looked (a while ago) I couldn't find a there, but looked again and there is a there. 🙂
  6. Isn't it a little much to expect other passengers to be supporting cast in a Fantasy Island remake? Fantasies are highly subjective, anyway. The taste of my food doesn't depend on what others are wearing. My eyes should be focused on my plate, anyway. But no worries - I don't generally wear shorts in the MDR or anywhere else, unless swimming, and those are trunks.
  7. I am not aware of anyone else on the tour, although there must be others. I am not above (below?) trying to attach myself to a ship tour or seeing if some group with status wants to adopt me. Or just heading for a tender unless/until someone physically stops me. I can always beg forgiveness. 🙂 I booked a Volunteer Point tour through a broker (a longer story), so I probably am in someone's group. Ushuaia is a tender port on our schedule so I can try to research what I think might give me the best chance. I'll have a ship tour there and can see how that works. Really I'm just trying to get ashore within a hour of tendering starting, so even if I follow the rules and get an early tender ticket, I think I should be okay. I have an alarm clock.
  8. How often do they have to have a dry dock? The last one was during the pandemic (Mar 2020) and they added 30 cabins among other things.
  9. is still scheduled for 1/21/23-2/10/23. I don't think they would spend the money on a dry dock if the plan wasn't to keep the ship for a while.
  10. What is the Celebrity process for tender ports if you have a private tour. Do you need to grab tender tickets somewhere and then hurry up and wait? The port in question is Stanley in the Falklands if it makes a difference. Thank you.
  11. Yes. With or without a drink package. Service can be hit or miss. A couple of times I walked around looking for a server and there were none on the floor. Or getting drinks at the bar
  12. Complementary breakfast is one thing, but I can't see spending $12 for a sandwich to be delivered
  13. In my experience with several Carnival Transatlantic cruises, the seas are mostly smooth. On the Celebration, the seas were a little rough going from Southampton to Spain, but pretty nice in the middle of nowhere, Atlantic Ocean. PXL_20221113_092957305_TS.mp4
  14. I can't see solo cruisers ordering room service.
  15. No fixed dining times? Sheesh. Even Carnival still has traditional dining options.
  16. The definitive answer is maybe and port security has complete discretion.
  17. Thank you for confirming what I already suspected. MSC already poaches customers, they might as well try to steal talent, too.
  18. Okay. I guess the question was about price matching and not obtaining casino perks. Casino rates are promotional rates not available to everyone, even though it may seem like it. Per the T&C they are not technically eligible for matching, YMMV.
  19. I never said it did. It contradicts who I quoted who thought chicken parm was not available in Italy. Clearly it is. Pizza didn't originate in New York. But they have put their own spin on it.

  21. The casino annex on dream does show up on this deckplan https://www.carnival.com/~/media/D2CDE8D12E564ECEA0F4ADD7EDB29AD4.ashx The casino on Jubilee looks identical to the other ships in that class https://www.carnival.com/~/media/Images/Ships/JB/DeckPlans/carnival-jubilee-deck-plan-pdf
  22. I wasn't allowed to switch to a casino offer after final payment. YMMV.
