It's amazing how some people can justify spending thousands on a liquor package when other times at home, wouldn't consider spending a fraction of that amount.😄

And from what I've seen since we've returned from the Covid break, it hasn't seemed to affect business at all. The ships are sailing at capacity almost every cruise & everyone seems to be satisfied with what clothing is being allowed in the DR on formal nights.

That's exactly what I was talking about.

From what I've seen, I have no doubts that Princess has "sharing" built into their liquor packages. 😄

After they took my coffee trade in for the setup, I feel cheated having to buy one of their packages in order to get decent coffee. All in all, I do have a plan for our next cruise to circumvent the extra cost.

If you have the package then attending the party isn't much of an event but seeing that we're not sailing with a liquor package next cruise, we'll go for a couple of free drinks.

That sounds "reasonable" for most people. I'm certain that they'll be a few who will have to make another trip back to the DR for more.

It's aggravating to be coerced into spending $30 a day just to get decent coffee.☹️

They haven't begun to charge for double orders like that yet but if people continue to order excessive lobster tails, they just might. Didn't Carnival start charging extra for their lobster?

They could increase the price just like they did for the specialty restaurants.

They're missing out on all those $$$.

You noticed. 😁 If I told my husband that he had to wear something White and Gold, he'd tell me to go by myself.

It's important if your house is pretty much like all the others in a particular area. A better neighborhood is thee most important thing to perspective buyers. Having a just decent house in the best area means more to most people rather than the best house in just a regular one. We learned that three times over the years and it's paid off very well. I should add that a Black color medallion is always more appealing on a ship filled with Blue medallions.

The problem is that you can't return to a previous color level.

I still want one color of each of them for my collection.

Yes, they do have formal nights but they're not like they used to be years ago. Many people have decided not to dress as formally as they once did years ago and it's totally acceptable with Princess. Many of the guys don't even wear jackets any longer and tux's are far & few between. The women can get by with just a pair of slacks & any decent top. Don't let that stop you from dressing as formally as you please. It's basically just another casual evening but with a better dinner menu.

Same thing on the Enchanted when they were in the Caribbean. Nothing to get very excited about and much less crowded sing many now travel with the package.

Just slightly a little less crowded, but all the ships seem crowded these days no matter what date you chose.

Is it possible to request one of the different colors? I never had the chance to get a Blue medallion.

That was my first thought. Now they'll have to keep track of the number of times each person enters any restaurant with the medallion, 😄
