I'm thinking this is just another one of Princess's errors in keeping their web pages updated.

As with most Princess deserts, they usually look better than they taste. I would have though the cakes offered with the Plus package would be of better quality.

It's interesting to read the different opinions on the Plus package. Even from people who don't drink seem to have convinced themselves that it's a great deal. 😄 It appears that inflation hasn't really affected the pocketbooks of the sailors on this board yet.

You do have to get there early in the day (or on port days to get a chair).

I also feel this way but there are many cruisers who today are sailing with the Premium & Plus packages that in past years would never have spent that much extra on a cruise. Also, the Specialty restaurants are doing a booming business almost every night and excursions seem to be doing OK. Thankfully, I can tailor my cruise around these expensive add on items, for the moment.

Also, there are many people who don't care about cruise credits as it doesn't mean anything after you reach a certain point.

There was one cruise that the Capt. Circle Host posted a sign at her desk that informed everyone what the cutoff number was eliminating the usual line of people wanting to know. Now that responsibility has transferred to the Future Sales person (as well as other questions) they'll be less available for questions about sales. I can only wonder how many people will just walk away, not wanting to wait an hour to discuss a future cruise.

That's Interesting, about the recipe. On out last cruise I usually get one of their donuts in the morning but after trying just one, they were terrible. They were just a lump of dough coated with thick sugar and nothing like Princess use to serve in years past. I commented to the server the next morning when one of the bakery chefs just happened to be there & he told me that they have a different recipe for those served in Sabatini's for breakfast. Five minutes later he came to my table with a donut he brought from the galley & asked how I like it. It was light & fluffy, just like the ones from past cruises. It's hard to believe that there could be that much savings just for a change in recipe.

Really ! That's disappointing. What was wrong with them? Possible over baked?

We're like you and just like a leisurely dinner, but not 2 hours. Those 2 hour dinners are just waisted time sitting there waiting for the next course. Oh btw, the shows for US based cruises always begin at 7:30 and 9:30 with a few exceptions. Starting a 2 hour dinner any later then 5:30 means attending a late performance or missing something else you may want to attend.

Give it a little time and the new price will be accepted as normal. People quickly forget and things will be back to what they were before the increase.

It's obvious that many people wouldn't mind paying more for a spot without having to compete with the crowd on embarkation day.

Yep, they sure are getting a little carried away with their prices but people are still spending like crazy so Princess will keep raising them.

I can understand why. There are many other Princess ships that are in much better shape. We haven't sailed on the CB since 2017 and wouldn't return but that was for other reasons.

I think we've had our fill.

Although we haven't bought a soda package yet, I always though that all the mocktails (unlimited) were included in their soda packages. The one's I've tried with the plus package were exceptionally sweet, except for the banana.

I suspect they will be selling faster speeds for a price, possibly even including it with the Premium package.

We've always brought our own plastic bottles (1 liter) on board with us even after they started the nonsense of only water in cans. In Florida we've never been questioned about what's in them even when it was the only thing in the suitcase. I have to assume that security just doesn't care about what Princess wants.

We just bring our normal clothing & don't get involved with wearing anything special for any events, should we care to attend.

People do pick what things that they like to get involved with and dressing up for a free cocktail isn't one of them from what I've seen.

We've seen all the new shows so many times that we don't even go any more. A return to the older ones would be nice for a change.

I think they've solved people watching TV in the cabins. The movie selection is so outdated that there's nothing to watch unless you've been living in a cave for the past years before sailing.
