  1. If they didn't make it so difficult to reach those input ports there would be less breakage. People will try to plug in things not knowing if it can be switched or not.
  2. I suffer from insomnia & at 3 AM it's actually usable on the ships.... as are port days.
  3. It's just one more thing that I'd have to carry, which shouldn't be necessary.
  4. I really have to agree with everything you say. It get to the point of being ridiculous to spend that much money everyday just because your on a cruise. I could drink & eat they much everyday if I chose to. 😉
  5. Not really. When you switch the TV off and back on again it reverts back to the standard input. I honestly can't see any reason not to let people utilize a TV that they've paid to use during the cruise..... like review you video's and pictures on your phone on a decent size screen.
  6. They must have been overwhelmed with responses as they never acknowledged receiving any input.
  7. What ship had OJ machines? I have yet to see them.
  8. It does appear that way, on some of the ships, but it makes me wonder why there so determined to lock people out of that feature? Could it be that they're not out of the cabin spending money?
  9. Unfortunately no, although I don't see that as any big loss.
  10. People just seem oblivious to these rate increases.
  11. I believe that qualifies as enticement. 😄
  12. It's amassing how they can entice people to spring for the the plus packages. We're still covered with the $50 package & might cancel it as we're always trying to get ahead by drinking much more than we should. We can certainly live with the 2 free bottles of wine per trip plus the other free drinks they provide during our cruise. The internet isn't important to us at all, nor are the specialty coffees so it makes for a tough decision.
  13. Never, but they did have a greater selection of newer ones to choose from as I remember.
  14. On a Princess ship? Shocking.
  15. Films like that would make me happy but I'm almost certain that they won't be shown on Princess for a long time. Possibly by the end of this year if at all. Unfortunately, Princess's budget for movies is practically nil these days.
  16. I hope we'll see some difference when Starlink is finally installed. In some locations it can't be much worse.
  17. A bartender told me that it's easier to ask for a cabin number since there are so many people showing up on his screen at the same time it would take forever to pick out an individual face for each order. When there's no one around the bar they never ask.
  18. Films like The Whale or A Man Called Otto, maybe although The Fabelmans are one of the newest. The ones you mentioned are all being shown on my cable channel at home and I can watch them anytime. On a cruise I expect to see something a little newer.
  19. We haven't been on the Ruby in quite a while but I'm certain that they're just as casual as the other ships are these days. Enjoy your relaxed vacation in what ever dress style you choose.
  20. Even on our Alaskan cruise which were many years ago, the dress code was always more relaxed. I suspect that today it's even more so considering what the airlines are now charging for the extra baggage.
  21. One of the newer current movies would be so much better.
  22. The regular coffee on the Royal used to be OK. Possibly things have drastically changed in the last year or so??
  23. Those doge you were watching were there to inspect incoming pallets of food being delivered to the ship.
  24. I'm beginning to think people just leave books and games just about anywhere on the ship since the library has been eliminated.
