  3. Yes, you will have room. They do a great job on the Crown for the UBD. I would book it for 2 now and when you get OB, call the RS and tell them what day and time you want to make sure to reserve it. Tell them it will be for 4 and you will pay for it. Yes, it will go on your folio, against your OBC, no problem. We did exactly this on the Crown and did not have any problems.
  4. I think @Ombud was referring to a past cruise, where they swapped for a bottle of wine. I don’t think it is a re-swap. I read it as the next cruise. Correct me if I’m wrong. IDK if they are still doing OBC though. I’m wondering if it makes a difference if you had prepurchased the coffee cards? Many of us purchased these cards for future cruises, way before they were discontinued.
  5. There was, pre covid, on RCCL & CCL email addresses for the current Maitre’d of the specific ships that you could send pre cruise a special request. Not sure if they still exist. Never have seen this for PCL.
  6. No, it’s not higher if you buy it on the first day. You just tell them the App would not work. Looking at your 1st post….did you click on the button for 1 device? Then, you clicked on Buy Plan? Did you check on the App, your payment to make sure the credit card was in there and correct? BTW, did you send an email to IT for help? Subject: Help with App Error!   7. For OBC, called GS from the cabin on 1st cruise. They gave us $50 PP OBC. 2nd cruise, traded for 1 bottle wine, value $44. Not sure if they are offering OBC anymore on the cruises because of the discontinued coffee packages. This was March, last month, Enchanted.
  8. Instead of waiting in a long line for coffee, you could just have a seat and order from one of the bar hosts, who are walking around. Unless, you were just wanting a to go coffee, maybe? Or, the IC was too crowded to find a seat? Thank you for your review.
  9. That happened to us also, short staffed. We went to the IC instead of the buffet and grabbed a sandwich.
  10. I would call them first and explain what has happened. Would they be able to help you with an appointment, if they already have your old passport and application? Good luck. If you’re traveling within the next 2 weeks you can call them.
  11. We used it in March, only waited 10 mins, but we were lucky. Anyway, you’re right, Uber/Lyft are cheap and plentiful in Ft Lauderdale. Not a taxi, as many have reported they’ve really ripped them off.

  13. Sorry to hear about the health issues. We had a lot also, with one evac at sea. Coast Guard helicopter did a tricky evac at night. Crown in November, 28 night So Pac also. I wonder how much of that was covid or because of covid? We left one guest in Maui and one in Moorea at their hospitals. Add cough drops to that list and soft tissues for the nose! Hope you are recovering well!
  14. Last cruise, last month, on the Enchanted they had to go cups. However, they said no more large cups, only regular sized. It could have been a supply issue, not sure.

  18. They don’t charge for medical records if it’s covid related. Other issues they normally charge. Of course, subject to change after the emergency covid rules end in the US on May 11, 23. Then, IDK.
  19. Yes, they would need to do an in person appointment if they are near a passport office. You can also hire an agency to get your passport renewed, if you are not near a passport office. Can be expensive, but companies will pay for their employees, if it’s for business travel.
  20. Directly from the passport processing center: I’ve just been advised on April 24, that expedited is still 7-9 weeks and that you start counting from the day they receive your application. You should be fine. We did expedited because they have been slammed with summer travel. Processing Times as of March 24, 2023 Routine 10 to 13 weeks Expedited 7 to 9 weeks
  21. Go all way through to select your cabin: You will see the prices Princess selects the cabin…. Right above that it says deposit is non refundable… You choose your stateroom Right above that it says deposit fully refundable. Here’s an example.
