  1. It would have to be 2 transactions in order to do this. Cancel the old one. Book a brand new booking which will have a new booking number. Does your current booking have a refundable deposit? Also, check if the new booking deposit will be refundable, before you proceed. Also, if you have promos connected to the old booking, you’ll lose those. Compare those to what promos you’ll receive with the new booking. Any OB purchases, etc will be refunded, when you cancel and you’ll need to repurchase them in the new booking.
  2. You’re on the Princess forum. Princess also has EZ check at FLL with some airlines.
  3. Definitely download the operating airline App and make sure they have your email address and you get flight notifications. Is the flight operated by AF or DL? Sometimes it’s just a minor flight time, airline flight number or an equipment change. Check your seat numbers to see if they changed, as that could happen if the equipment changed.
  4. Wouldn’t hurt to ask. You could also checkin on your phone, and then go to the internet cafe and print out your BP. You’ll have a digital check in and paper if you want it. If you’re checking a bag, you can just print it out at the airline kiosk when you check in at the terminal. You need a baggage tag anyway. You don’t say what airport this is.
  5. I get that. But, third party companies should not have or use our personal information. Do they have access to all our information on our Princess accounts? They people that are calling seem to be shady and not very professional.
  6. Then they should not present themselves as Princess cruises or as an employee. They also are making unsolicited calls.
  7. You think it could be someone connected to the MedallionClass now called Princess App team? Whatever happened to those Princess Promoters who last year, were sending us emails about buying wine and all sorts of items? Where did they go? Wonder if it’s someone from that promo? At any rate, that’s concerning and I would report it to Princess headquarters. Maybe HR department. It does violate your privacy, if that person has your personal information and also they are impersonating a Princess employee. I saw a report from another Princess guest on the Fodor’s website from Nov 25, 2022. That person thought it was a scam also. Keep us posted.
  8. Not sure how far out you are? If you are even further out, may be a website issue. A PCL agent or chat may be able to help? Sailings 25 days or more (including Full World Cruise & World Cruise Segments) Final Payment is due 120 days prior to departure Sailings 6 to 24 days (including World Cruise Segments) Final Payment is due 90 days prior to departure Also, others have posted website issues today.
  9. Excellent advise. We do not carry a lot of Cash. Just enough for tips, walking around cash. There are some small places that only take local currency and not credit cards. Sometimes it will be the taxi’s that only accepts cash. Just depends. We prefer to use a credit card, if possible, in the local currency, due to better rates of conversion. You sound like a banker. 💰
  10. IDK. They were my backup out of FLL and didn’t have to use them. Did emed proctored. Rapid Antigen is $49. Your insurance may cover it. Here’s the link. https://labdoctor.org/covid-pcr-testing/
  11. Us too! I use extras for more balcony lighting for UBD. 🍷 💐 🕯️
  12. Definitely use a debit. That alerts your bank that you are in a foreign country. Make sure to notify your bank you’re traveling overseas, and which credit cards or debit card you will be taking with you. Some do not require notice. But, others, if you do not notify, they may think it’s fraudulent. So, good to notify them.
  13. They did it on our last cruise (Nov/Dec) in the South Pacific, but they did say they had a limited amount of currency. It was shown in the patter. So, I think you’re right. It’s iffy.
  14. Is she anywhere near Ft Lauderdale? Lab Doctor 17th St. does rapid antigen tests. If need be, you might check on the Florida departures for help on locations. CVS/Walgreens and Kroger do them in our area, limited hours. But, we’re not in FL.
  15. @Shelly97060Really appreciate your help in this matter. Thank you.
  16. We left it on for you @c-boy! 😂 Of course, we remove it. 🤣
  17. How long did they take to ticket, after your early ticketing request? TIA
  18. “Important notices” on ours is general guidance, as it clearly states. Nothing about testing requirements. This is where they should state clearly for the individual voyages. On your summary (cruise personalizer) or your travel summary. Or, as some have done is the past, email passengers on the specific voyages. These Enhanced Voyages do not all have the same testing rules, as you can see.
  19. For the heck of it…..Did you check your date of visit to Gibraltar port to see how many ships are scheduled? Interesting. https://www.gibraltarport.com/cruise/schedules?cruise_schedule_year=2023&cruise_schedule_month=7
  20. Did they refund the difference back to your CC, or give you OBC?
  21. Along about the same time as they changed the prices online for things such as, onboard services. That went into effect on Dec 14th.
  22. And if you booked it…just go on the United website and put in your Airline confirmation number. Look at your reservation and select your seats. Better than requesting them through EZAir. Also, I would download the United App and make sure they have your email and cell for notifications. In case of Flight changes.
  23. Click on the photo, lower right corner Profile picture. Look at it now, the sea witch should show the right color. This has been an App issue for some people. Maybe TA can help get it the right color. If you buy it at full price, they can refund the 50% once OB. Or, you can buy it at 50% through your agent or PCL, hopefully before you sail.
