  1. Also, all your b2b’s should show as one cruise on the MedallionClass App. Will just show the first cabin number on the sailing, but the date will show the whole period. On the website though, it does show each cruise with each cabin number. Watch those cabins, as they may change.
  2. It could be priced higher on Discovery and Sky. However, drop by on the first day and they usually offer a discount card you can use later or will send one to your cabin if you sign up at the front desk in the spa. They also run specials during the cruise. I always wait till OB to see what deals they offer and then sign up.
  3. You still only have to do it once on b2b’s or once every 30 days. That’s what we were told on our 6 b2b’s.
  4. Looks like the first cruises are October sailings and most of those that reported they received the email, said they aren’t going to bid. Only noticed a couple of bidders. So, it may be a while before we hear anything.
  5. Did you bid on all 3 of your cruises? Maybe you’ll get it and in the same cabin!!
  6. Unfortunately, can’t buy the MedallionNet on the website version of the App. So, it has to be corrected to buy at the discount on the MedallionClass App or call PCL or TA/CVP and tell them you want to buy the discount rate. Then it will show up in the Travel summary. Or, in this case of the OP, get the Medallion App team to fix the account.
  7. First thing i would do, if your b2b’s are all GTY…I’d make sure your TA/CVP has linked all 3 in the computer. It looks like they’re already assigned, if so… ask your TA/CVP to watch for availability. And you as well if possible. 1. If I had 3 different cabins, I’d check with GS when OB and ask if they could assign 1 cabin for me. 2. If you Do have to move, you will get instructions from PCL in your cabin a couple of days before on the procedure. Basically, advise your steward and pack everything except your hanging clothes. He will move those for you on turnaround day. I usually like to go to the new cabin once it’s empty to put our stuff in that safe, or if it’s not ready just take a carryon bag with us through customs. 3. You will usually meet in a group with all the b2b’s and go through customs together and back on the ship. They clear all the guests first and then the b2b’s. It’s usually a easy process and nice they do the customs as a group. You must carry your passport and medallion. IF you want to get off in LA to sightsee or for any reason, you can just get off at any time during the disembarkation instead of with the B2b’s, you will just show your transit card that they give you to get back on. 4. You keep the same medallion for the whole time. The battery lasts about a month. If it stops working, GS will replace it in just a few minutes. 5. No you do not recheck in. They know you are there. You don’t say how soon you are leaving, or if the ship shows any availability. But, keep checking and see if anything opens. Good luck! Have a great time!
  8. It would still be 2 separate charges. They would refund the bungalow and that would go on your folio as available credit. It usually shows up that day or the next day on your folio. Then you would book the sanctuary and that would go against your folio as a charge. It all comes out in the wash. I try to do cancellations pre cruise, if I can, so it goes back on my CC usually pretty quickly. But, you probably want to see if the sanctuary is available once OB? In that case, you’ll go to the sanctuary when you get OB to check availability.
  9. True. It would just be nice to know if and when they are working them. Not that would really make a difference. Lol Guess we are just curious. 🤔
  10. That’s a shame. Weather is one thing we have no control over. I hope they give you some FCC’s.
  11. Medallion App team should be able to fix this. It has happened to others as well. As long as your account information is correct on the website, they should be able to sell you the 50% discount. Are you traveling soon? I would also send a message to the team and tell them what you’ve gone through and still no fix. Ask for help. Askoceanmedallion@carnival.com Subject field: Help! 12. I was recently “upgraded” on a b2b and both UG to different cabins, of course. No UG was on my bookings, my TA was NOT notified. I just happened to check over my bookings and noticed it. The cabin was then open for sale, of course over the weekend. So, on Monday my TA was able to get my original back on both sailings. It was not operational, if they were going to re sell them. The upgrade they gave me was on a deck with a smaller balcony, one fwd and one aft. Definitely not an UG IMO. So, check your cabins periodically. It’s still happening, even with bidding going on.
  13. So, you decided Sapphire and aft? We’d sure like to do this trip again. 🤔
  14. Good idea. I can tell you OB, they do carry bracelets or wrist bands in Sm Med and Large. The rubber sports bands have a buckle and are plenty big. The metal gold/silver ladies bangle bracelet runs small, even the large. So, it’s good to try those on first.
  15. That’s great if they would accept the minimum. If you’re looking for a mini suite.
  16. After you make a bid, you get a confirmation email and within that email there is an option to cancel. Very easy.
  17. We’ll be the Guinea pigs and you can learn from all our mistakes! 🤣
  18. I know, right? But, it said 5 days past final payment. It didn’t say, if you just booked one and put it on hold, which would need to be paid soon. You could book last minute too. Even though it says booking must be paid in full… IDK
  19. Would the offer add up to a savings? Or, what you would have paid anyway?
  20. They said others will be rolled out. They are rolling them out pretty fast. Time is money!
  21. You can also buy one OB rubber, lightweight. It was $12, I think.
  22. Not that I know of. Just roll calls and threads on PCL, sharing their experiences. I don’t think they would publish anything like that, because it’s not available on every cruise or every guest.
  23. I don’t see how that would be profitable for them, when they could actually book them ahead of time. Bidding would not be offered until 5 days AFTER final payment. But…who knows! Those prices they are offering, on the low end are the same prices offered once OB, for those interested in a paid UG.
