  1. Indeed. They have made a lot of progress these last few months. But, it is a continual process.
  2. Yes, take them with you. They will just adjust those for you. We had changed cabins too and these were already updated when we arrived. If not, only takes a few mins to update. You keep the same medallion. You should still be in the green lane.
  3. It will come with your status color. I wouldn’t worry about it, no one really cares about your color. You can tuck the lanyard inside your shirt if you want.
  4. Blue is a brand new Princess cruiser.
  5. Beta tests usually are only a select few in a group. IDK how they were selected. I just wish that IT team would concentrate on fixing the issues the guests are having with the App currently, before venturing off into new sideline programs.

  8. Let’s spend the time working on the current App issues, BEFORE adding more programs. This is causing many to have issues with the website and the App. Princess is already overloaded with phone calls about cancelled cruises, new 2023/2024 cruises opened up. And all the previous problems with Ship changes and the App not reflecting those.
  9. I would hope that it either is at booking capacity or sold out. They may be restricting bookings due to staff shortages for a while. Some of the cruises due to a cancellation, like the Diamond and the protection ship are currently unavailable, until guests decide if the want the protection cruise, FCC or refunds. We’ve gone through a ship change and itinerary change, etc recently and they’ve given us a chance to get our new cabins, before opening it up to new bookings, etc. During that time, it said currently unavailable.
  10. They are updating and believe that is why we are getting so many odd responses. Because, I try again and no problem. So, I’m staying off the website and App today. See if tmrw works?
  11. That would be difficult! How can you get into the Princess website to check on your cruises? If I couldn’t get into t my website account, I would call customer solutions so they can fix the website issue. Tell them to send you a link to change your passwords. The App is another story. But, you need to be able to get into the website! Once, they send a link for the website, change both passwords.
  12. The b2b’s should show as one cruise. It takes a couple of days to see this on the App. However, if the ship was swapped for another, that has been a big issue on the App. The IT team is working this issue by date of travel. Most important: The website should be correct, showing the individual booking numbers and correct ship. If so, use the website version of checkin and get your DMW on the website. Do what you can ahead of time on the website version.
  13. No way I would ever be under a casino. I could not sleep until they closed. What about the smoke filtering into deck 5 from the casino? I would have concerns. I’d get my cabins back. Are they using 8 for quarantine?
  14. I haven’t tried this, but have your friends tried on their end to link your booking with theirs for DMW reservations?
  15. Yes, and @camberlywas new to Princess, so I figured they needed to go through the process of creating a profile first in the website for both guests and make sure that was correct. Then, go to the App, sign in and then work on completing the information on the App. First, it didn’t work, tried it again snd it did work. There’s a little lag time from the website to the App inputs. BUT… @JF - retired RRT I thought you were fixed a long time ago? IDK if we can do anything for you…if IT can’t fix it! Did you try changing both your passwords on Princess?
  16. That’s so great to hear! I tell PCL in every review, “Your Crew is what makes Princess so special!” We had a cabin steward for 6 weeks this year and when he came to our room to bring us something, he told us, thank you so much for sailing again with Princess. If it wasn’t for you folks, I wouldn’t have a job! We were so honored to have him as a steward.
  17. It could be because the number of cases OB, the length of the cruise on the b2b or government requirements. Would be interesting to know if they let the guest do their own test?

  19. We like these cabins, large balcony D701/D702 are both good. We had D704 before and it was the same size.
  20. There are so many things going on, I would just call next week. They just cancelled the Diamond sailings from Sep 1, 22 to Nov 13, 22 and many are trying to get through about rebookings, refunds, etc. Also, they just opened up the new sailings for 2023/2024 yesterday and crazy call volume. Not an excuse…just a fact. I would hope it will settle down some next week. Call when they first open 6am PT mon-fri and tell them you were told to ask for customer solutions dept.
  21. Depends on the port, due to the water level. If you check the deck plans mid ship, you’ll see Alfredo’s. You’ll probably embark on 5, just depends. Lol…we really like it too. 😜
