Mid ship is best with rough seas. We normally do aft or aft facing and you will feel some vibration but not really bad. Fwd is the roughest and if it’s really bad you can feel it more hitting waves and hear the anchor when they lower it. Some say they like it. If you get seasick then stick with midship and low if you can like Caribe or Dolphin. The other areas aren’t really bad, you just feel it more. And if you have really rough seas, then you’ll feel it more of course.

IMO… C531 is a much better and a larger, 1/2 covered balcony. I think it’s a good one. We always book the Caribe deck. They may need Aloha for quarantine.

Yes, and will it be implemented tmrw, next week, next month? IDK, but it always stated to show documents at the port. So, it’s not a bad idea to get people to download documents, if possible. Lol Yes, UK is now self administered testing and attesting to that fact.

They don’t change to approved, until after you show all your documents at the port. This function is not fully implemented. Maybe in the future per the IT dept.

I did a long response but it didn’t send. I’ll try again. Did you accept the passage contract for each person that pops up when you made the new booking? Sign out of the App both accounts and go to the website. Go through each item in your account and profile. Make sure it is correct or filled in. Then do the same for your partner if one is traveling with you. Sign out of the website, both of you. Then sign back into the App. Go one at a time through the personal information and documents. Check your personal information for each person. If the App is acting up, try this tmrw. There are a lot of issues now on the website snd App due to many changes, loading sailings for 2023/2024. And cancellations of the Diamond Princess for upcoming cruises. It may be better to do this tmrw, if you get strange responses tonight. Let us know if this helps at all.

Was it just the App? Is the website cruise personalizer still intact?

Lol… No, wait it takes a day or two to show up on the App. It should show on the app as all one cruise. Then on the website your cruise personalizer will show the individual cruises you booked and different booking numbers.

They asked about 2023? I’d check for them, but I can’t log in. 😆

Our waiters always knew the numbers for the next sailing. They were updated during their DR meetings.

They have been pretty short hold times for the last couple of weeks, for me anyway. Now, it may be crazy again. 😞

It’s not just one cruise line. I have family and friends on different lines and they are all struggling with staff shortages, mechanical issues, covid etc. It’s going to take a while.

Also, look at hotels dot com. I see Cambria hotels at Ft Lauderdale airport South and cruiseport w arpt shuttle, excellent reviews, its just under 250 including taxes and fees. Tough date. or Comfort Suites Airport South reviews very good includes bkfst and arpt shuttle

All the ones I’ve stayed at are all $250 and up for those dates. Insane prices. Anyway, go to booking dot com and do a search of ft Lauderdale airport and their are a couple shown a little lower in the beach area, reviews very good to excellent. You would just need to Uber or Lyft to the hotel and to the port. Maybe a $12-15 uber fee each way. Or, just stay at one near the airport that’s around $250 pick one, go to their website and see if it’s a better price, put in senior, AAA or whatever discount might work for you. We got stuck over Spring break there and they all wanted $350 and up! 😜 We’ve stayed at both Holiday Inn express Dania beach, Hyatt Place, Embassy Suites, Hotel Dello, Crowne Plaza, etc. I’ll look again.

Everyone needs to keep checking the website IF you are traveling soon. They are not going to advise 1000’s of people by email every time there is a change. Maybe the ones who are 1-2 weeks out.
