  1. Good luck with it. My only suggestion is to call BA directly, since it’s their flight, they would be the one to assign.
  2. The only thing I would add…ask your TA or Princess if you can get the same cabin for both cruises? Makes it a little easier. Just in case it may be open. You could look on the website and see what is available. Where is your b2b port?
  3. This is happening on a lot of different cruises in 2022. Could be any type of update, increases, decreases, excursion updates, capacity control, etc.
  4. I’m afraid it’s another INNOVATIVE idea. Let’s fix the current INNOVATIVE ideas…like the App. 🤔
  5. And once the BA operated flight is ticketed, could you call BA directly and ask for seat assignments? They should be able to pull it up by the BA flight number. So, you’ll need the actual BA flight number, date etc for them. I’m sure you’ve already tried this?
  6. Go to your cruise personalizer on the website. Click on Lotus Spa services click options You should see what is offered. The first day they have a tour of the spa area and you can sign up for specials. The manager will usually send a discount card to your cabin after your visit. If you have a few in your party that are interested, just see the manager. I’m sure he/she can work it out and give you a discount too. 🤔
  7. You are so right! I don’t leave stuff until I get OB. This is their issue to fix. Most important is that your account shows correctly on the website. I have been able to get through really quickly the last couple of weeks. I’d call them and have them sell it to you at the discounted rate.
  8. I think it is just specially for you! 😳 Lets hope it’s not an addition to the App. That is overloaded already!😝
  9. Doesn’t work for me. How do you get rewards? Have to buy stuff?
  10. I always order them in advance usually around final payment time. Sometimes I order a year ahead of time! I like to see that green lane status! Lol You should get them 14 to 10 days before sailing. So, if don’t get them, just pick up at the port. It only takes a few more minutes. Anyway, you need to order them to get to the green lane status in the App, whether you click the box ship to home or pick up at port.
  11. Seems all the resending would just increase their workload? Unless they just ignore the first request? It should go into a queue where they work it my travel date. Then when they’re ready, they work each month. Wonder what kind of system they have? 🤔
  12. If you’re on the App, about 45-30 days before departure you can go to the App: Travel checklist Documents and information move down…. Suggested boarding and arrival times click on the boarding time ( when it opens) Group A is usually 1100-1130. You will see if it accepts it. Most ports are not really strict about these times. Most posters have said they show up when they want or need to. I usually go early and sit in the Elite lounge. There’s really no digital pass, other than a QR code from the App. No longer have to print one. Fill out what you can ahead, take your Ocean Medallion with you, that they mail, along with your documents, like a passport, vaccine card, covid negative test results. I always print a copy of the travel summary and my luggage tags from the website like we always did.
  13. No, some other person posted that, not me. The quote I posted is from the Princess website and is their current policy for those sailing from the US and Canada.
  14. If you do send it again…put URGENT final payment due……….(date) Because they too work by travel date. If you have a CVP or TA they may be able to help. I’ve not had much success with them unless it’s an urgent travel date. Good luck to you.
  15. Sure, excursions desk should know. Have fun!
  16. There was a medical emergency airlifted off by the coastguard. Hope he / she is ok after receiving medical attention on land. Sad way to end their holiday. ☹️
  17. This is on the website for sailings from the US and Canada. Also, if you are positive call the Princess phone no as soon as possible so you can advise them. Also, do the same for your airline, EZAIR, hotels, insurance etc. Don’t wait till Monday. You want it documented and cancelled. I have called Princess lately on the regular line and wait for a prompt to see if you’re traveling right away to push. If not, I’ve gotten through right away. If you’re EZAIR there is an enroute number to call, shown on your travel summary too. I see the enroute emergency for EZAIR or assistance as 1 (800) 545-0008. This us EZair emergency. May be very busy on weekends due to flight changes. Just FYI Hopefully, you’ll be fine. Good luck. What if I test positive for COVID-19 in my pre-travel or embarkation day COVID-19 test, prior to boarding the ship? Guests who test positive for COVID-19, as well as their family members and close contacts, will not be allowed to sail and should not travel to the ship. If you, your family members, travelling companions or other close contacts are suspected of having COVID-19 and are not permitted to board, you are entitled to a 100% Future Cruise Credit (FCC). If you are unable to sail because you tested positive for COVID-19 on embarkation day, change fees and reasonable expenses related shoreside quarantine and travel home for you and your immediate travel party will be covered by Princess if not reimbursable from medical insurance, a travel protection plan or other responsible party. Any meals during shoreside quarantine will be covered by a per-diem meal allowance as communicated by a letter provided by staff at the pier. (No receipt retention is required.) If you have purchased a travel protection plan through us, you and your travel companion may make a claim for a refund under the trip interruption benefit instead of receiving the Future Cruise Credit.
  18. Very common. Happens on almost every sailing I’ve been. But we take longer cruises.
  19. Normally, in Europe they are air conditioned buses. If it’s a PCL excursion, check the excursion details, as it usually says air conditioned transport bus. More remote areas of the world, is a different story.
  20. Email whom? customerrelations@princesscruises.com
  21. A few years ago, I had a bottle in my suitcase once out of FLL, and they delivered my bag to the room, with a nice note that it was not allowed and it was discarded. Sad 😞 I’m sure I know who drank it! 😬 Never did that again!
  22. It’s in the passage of contract. They didn’t update the corkage fee to $20 on it, but we know they increased it this year. Anyway, I have heard of guests who made the mistake of putting alcohol. Yes, the security is the ones who scan the luggage and they are checking for contraband also. That’s what PCL security told us. Guests agree not to bring alcoholic beverages of any kind on board for consumption except one bottle of wine or champagne per person of drinking age (no larger than 750 ml) per voyage only in his/her carry-on luggage. A corkage fee of $15.00 U.S.D. per bottle (which is subject to change without notice) will be applied to wine and champagne brought aboard by You and consumed in the Ship’s public areas. Any wine(s) or champagne(s) supplied by the Carrier to You as a gift are not subject to a corkage fee. At embarkation, all luggage is subject to scanning and any contraband, including alcohol in excess of the allowed amount, will be removed and discarded. You may be required to attend an inspection if your luggage is locked. Carrier shall not be responsible for any loss, cost, disappointment or damage of any kind as a result of any contraband or alcoholic beverages removed in violation of the one bottle policy. You agree to surrender alcoholic beverages that are purchased duty free from the Ship's gift shop, or at ports of call, to Carrier, which will be delivered to Your stateroom on the last night of the voyage. I might add that the European ports seem to be different than the US ports. They are independent from PCL, as far as I know.
  23. It does say in their terms and conditions of the passenger contract that no alcohol is allowed in your checked in luggage. Do not put it in your checked bags. They say if found, it will be discarded. They many times will delay your luggage to your cabin, and have you go to the naughty room to claim it. Also, you will be charged the corkage fee of $20 per bottle. IF you’re lucky and it’s not discarded. Not worth it. JMO
