Tried Tuscan once! Being part Italian I was really disappointed compared with the Sabatini's restaurant on Princess. Murano however is far superior than both.

I always wear a jacket on chic nights. I may look out of place to others but I don't give a monkey's. What others choose to wear on suggested dress code nights will never influence my decision!

It’s now three years since Marilyn (aka vtcruising) sadly left us all too soon. Just thought I’d bump this thread up as I’m sure there are still a few of us who have fond memories of her enthusiasm for the Edge. She did an amazing job researching everything about the new ship. RIP

I'd happily miss a port to experience 6 metre waves. I still have fond memories of when I was a kid riding the waves aboard a 5,000 ton cruise ship. People being sick everywhere but me and my brother were loving it!

I called last week after I saw an extra $250 was being offered. After I upgraded to the Premium package I asked if there was any way I could receive a goodwill gesture for missing the new offer a week after my initial booking. To my complete surprise the kind lady added a further $200 to my existing $550 OBC. Please give it a try and report back

I agree, but when I rang from the UK I got through really quickly to a very helpful lady in the US. Not sure if there is any financial benefit leaving it until on board, but I prefer to have it sorted and PAL preprinted on my cruise card.

No balloon drop in the atrium on our Regal cruise last July. We had it on Royal pre Covid though

To me, that is disrespecting your wife/partner. My wife loves to dress up so I complement her attire accordingly. I have a background in men's retail clothing so I guess it's easier for me.

If price is an issue and you are an occasional drinker you’d be better off paying as you go. Personally it’s the Premium package every time. Peroni beers and fresh orange juice are my “go to” daily drinks mixed in with wine at lunch and dinner times.

Wearing a jacket for me is more comfortable than without. My iPhone and glasses slip nicely into the jacket inside pockets rather than bulging out in my jean pockets. My chic/formal night shirts are comfortable too because I buy the right size! It’s not rocket science, but then I couldn’t give a monkeys what other choose to wear on suggested dress code nights

I never saw any buckets of beer being bought on my two week Regal cruise this summer. Before the drinks package was introduced I always ordered the 5 for 4 bucket but now there is no point if you’ve prepaid all your alcohol drinks!

Thanks @DaKahuna I've just got off the phone to Celebrity and got the PAL upgrade for just myself with 10% off (Select tier discount). I also kindly asked if anything could be done with the Black Friday offer I just missed out on. I got $550 OBC when I booked last week only to discover today Celebrity are giving $800 OBC. As expected, I was told it required a booking cancellation which I didn't want to do, so I asked if there was any chance of a goodwill gesture to ease my pain. To my amazement the lovely lady (from across the pond) I spoke with said she could add a further $100 OBC pp. Her name was Gem. Thank you Celebrity. Gem you made my day🙂🙂🙂

Sorry to ask a question I'm has been answered before! How do you upgrade myself from CALL to PALL, whilst the wife stays with CALL? Looking at "manage my booking" I can only add the packages but can't see an upgrade option! Thanks

I did the tour on Reflection and Edge. Both were equally enjoyable but I'm not sure they are worth the money. Fortunately my DD was the Activities Manager whilst on board so I got them for free!

Apple iTags for us in our hold luggage. It's comforting to know the bags are on board, but be sure you are well connected to the Wifi. One of our bags appeared to be still in the terminal when we were sitting on the plane until I got a stronger signal.

We dress up regardless of the suggested dress code. What others choose to wear I really don't give a monkeys! The wife loves dressing up and I'm happy complimenting her attire. Old fashioned perhaps but just seems disrespectful not to look smart in her company. Light weight slim fit dinner jackets help keep me within the hold luggage allowance easily too!

No changes for us. Still put two bags in the hold but include Apple iTags now!
