  1. Like I said, some ships have full-size sofas in connecting rooms. I obviously should qualify that with "some rooms on some ships".
  2. The newer ships (starting with Oasis class?) have the connecting door up by the cabin entrance, not anywhere near the sofa or the bed. Here's an example:
  3. Not always. Some ships have full-size sofas in connecting rooms.
  4. They might be arriving after the cabins are ready.
  5. What time is your ship scheduled to dock that morning? Will you be checking luggage for your flight or doing carry-on only? Do you have TSA Precheck?
  6. The only excursions they appear to have cancelled as of now are the wave runner (jet ski) excursions. What makes you think they are only allowing ship staff and guests, and not local workers?
  7. Depends on which shops you are talking about. There are some that are very close by that could easily be walked to, but then the main cluster of shops is further away, and would probably be a bit far to walk.
  8. I agree with you, that the traditional tipping rate was 15% for a long time. I've never understood why it went up. People would say something like, "to keep up with higher prices and inflation". Well, since it's a percentage of prices that are also going up, there's really no need for the percentage to go up.
  9. Have you considered sending your thoughts to RC instead of posting them here? It sounds like your concerns and questions are directed at RC. It's highly unlikely they will do anything as a result of you posting your thoughts here.
  10. This is how I've felt about the food for a while. Even more so regarding the desserts.
  11. Did hundreds of escaped Haitian prisoners get to Florida by boat?
  12. Agreed. A ship is no place for a dog.
  13. Same here. There's so many interesting places to see in the world!
  14. I agree that the parents shouldn't allow their kids to do these things, but it would also be nice if the cruise line enforced their own rules.
  15. How long was your cruise, and in what part of the world? Longer cruises (and in certain parts of the world) typically have fewer kids.
