I read in one of the cruising industry emails that Celebrity said they had "record breaking bookings" for the Apex as soon as the sailings were open. I guess there must be some people out there that will pay those prices!! ??

I'm with you on that!! We did some of those in the past and they were great! Being on the west coast I like to get as many days on the ship as possible since it's a days travel to get to MIA!!

I just read on "Seatrade" that Apex is doing "a full season in the UK". Including a 12 night to the fjords and Artic Circle. That sounds great! It sounded like Apex would be in Europe F/T?

I booked refundable because I always book a long ways out and my DH was not in the best of health. Otherwise i would book the non refundable.

I was on this T/A as well and sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you. This was the 2nd time I had seen Jayne Curry and I so agree...she is amazing!!! I also enjoyed the speakers and the "Fly Boys." I thought the singing by the female members in the production numbers was WAY too loud!! I worry for their vocal cords!! Steve our R/C member who did the Titanic lectures was terrific!! I have read many books, gone to other lectures and watch documentary shows as well as gone to museums and still learned so many new facts. And I agree that Captain George was great in his communication skills re the weather and the sea/waves etc. And the Halloween segment he was in was too funny!! My first time back on a cruise in almost 3 years and I was/am so happy to be back!!

I know that HAL has had them in the past on various ships but I have not sailed with them since Covid. Thanks for any info!

Might be worth it to spend one night there and then take the 10 AM flight the next day. Personally I wouldn't do it...I doubt you would make it and so stressful!! 😞

Celebrity is having any passengers on a T/A or T/P present a negative test done 2 days prior to boarding. They are not requiring that for any of their other sailings. FYI
