We got a aft facing balcony cabin on a higher demand week (departing the Saturday after Thanksgiving) for $40 less than you and we got $100 OBC from our TA... 🙂 You have control but my agent is better at controlling my booking than I could ever hope to be. I think most of us that are advocates for cruise TA's will concede that not all TA's are alike. When you find a good one they are worth their weight in gold.

We've always had two proteins with every meal. Every cruise we've been on that had a Teppanyaki we've done it. It's my favorite specialty restaurant. I think Royal does it extremely well.

I'm 1/9 on my Royal up bids... I finally won my last one. I went from a 4D balcony to a JS for about $300 per person. If I remember correctly that bid was low but not at the bottom. I've had bids from the highest level all the way down to a few dollars over the minimum and never been successful previously.

I would love for them to offer more adult only areas on the ship... I doubt it'll happen but it would be great.

I just did this... Unfortunately, I had to cancel my Sept Canada/NE cruise. I ended up booking a different cruise on a slightly different embarkation day. I told my TA to cancel my old cruise and he a reminded me to cancel my cruise planner purchases first. I knew this but in the flurry of the moment had forgotten. I made the cancellations, on the 5th of June and the credit showed up in my online banking on the 8th dated for the 7th. My suspicion is the credits will come for the OP but may take a little longer.

We had a celebration on Super Bowl Sunday. I'd say you can celebrate anything and everything you want.

My suspicion is this was a one off with a waiter misunderstanding the instructions of the head waiter. Had it been my table I would have immediately asked to speak with the head waiter.

Yes... Any OBC can be used for any onboard ship expense.

We did exactly this but we did it to maximize our C&A Balcony discount on our family cruise. We put myself and Son-in-law in one cabin and DW and DD in another. This way we got the discount on both rooms. We also had a mix of drink packages from nothing all the the way to DBP. We rearranged the cabins at GS once on board and nobody cared and it had no impact on the one who had the DBP (me 🙂)

We've had one three times. Twice on Navigator and we loved it both times and once on Serenade. On Serenade it was Midship... I believe it was the old Concierge Lounge that had been converted to a suite. It was even bigger than the forward OVP suites on NV. It really was massive. I'd take one any day of the week. Congrats @So_Tweetie, that's a great score. 🙂

So I booked a short Celebrity cruise just to give a whirl. I'm not yet but will be D+ by the time this cruise rolls along so I will get to experience Elite + on Celebrity. I'd probably not have booked this cruise at all were not for the change in status matching... so I guess their marketing ploy working on me anyways.

Get a room and experience all that the Irish have to offer. 🙂.

I just realized my post might have sounded critical or sarcastic towards you and it is too late to edit... That was not my intent. It is just that my ADD addled brain could never even fathom such a thing. I even bought those mesh luggage cubes off Amazon about a year ago to try and help organize and four cruises later they are still in the plastic wrap they came in.

LOL!!! you are way to organized. I don't pack until the night before the flight. I have certain "cruise items" that always go. After that it is whatever strikes my fancy while I'm standing in front of my closet...

When we were on Harmony the Solarium bistro was practically deserted during the lunch period.

My experience is very different than yours apparently. All the pinnacle I have met are amazingly interesting and nice people.

I can see how that storing all that luggage would be a problem... That's a lot of luggage.

Oh that's to bad... I'm going to miss him. He is the best!

@RFerrington is a Pinnacle so I think fairly often.
