  1. I have been told but have forgotten. Do you contact dining at RCCL or special needs to let them know about serious food allergies?
  2. Lots of non-smokers will come on these boards and say that the only thing stopping them from spending time and money in the casino is the smoking. We're about to find out if that is true or they were just "blowing smoke". 🙂
  3. While waiting in line in my car to enter the USA from Canada I have, many times, had my car circled by a CBP officer with a dog.
  4. Tendering time is a crap shoot. I'd book RCi excursions at tender ports. You get priority tendering then.
  5. Starboard side deck 5 and 11. They also have a smoking lounge on deck 4 called Casino Royale. Sometimes people gamble there too.
  6. Yeah, I can see the difference. I liked the one I had be only used on one day. Most days I got myself one of those single clam shells that were position polar opposite of these cabana things overlooking the pool.
  7. How do you book? Do you call in to the same number that you call to book drinks and excursions?
  8. Star class includes the DBP... That is why you weren't charged. All sky class cabins will either be charged, require a C&A voucher or the DBP.
  9. Typically 9-12 months in advance however, I have one that just opened and it is 7 months out and I have one that is 16 months out that is already available for booking. No idea why the difference. You just have to keep checking your planner.
  10. I loved the suite sundeck on Oasis and I suspect Harmony's is very similar. I'm not one to sit close to the pool anyways so I didn't mind the distance from the pool. having your own bartender and restrooms near by was great. I loved the single clam shell seating. That was my go to spot however, I did use one of the Cabana's overlooking the solarium one day too... This is a picture of the Cabana overlooking the solarium. Sorry I can't find a pic of the clam shell I spent most of the time. Very nice and much more peaceful.
  11. I'm looking at the sailing embarking today right now... It lists Volleyball, various bball comps and dodgeball right on the day 1. I haven't checked other days.
  12. Typically 9-12 months in advance of the sailing but sometime even more. I had my cruise in Feb 2024 just open for reservations this week but my cruise for sept 2024 has been available for over a month. Just keep checking your cruise planner.
  13. No... select the sailing for this week. Then you can look at the current activities listed. That should give you an indication what is typical on Symphony. You can't look at a sailing way off in the future and get anything meaningful but what is happening on this sailing will likely be typical of what you see on the sailing you might go on.
  14. Yeah I'd go for a walk when we were on Oasis and after getting a mile in it would register about 5 miles. It sure made it look like I was working hard 🙂
  15. Yes, go to your account... click select a different cruise... click browse our ships... click symphony of the seas... click the current sailing and it will load the current sailing like you are on it. From there you can look at the calendar.
  16. Every cruise I have been on has had a 3v3 bbball tourney and picklball comp. I don't remember dodgeball or volleyball. But I I wouldn't have been looking for those. If you go to the current sailing of Symphony on the app you can see activities of this week cruise. That should give you an indication.
  17. Weird... I ordered several Buffalo Trace Old Fashioneds when I was on Oasis...
  18. I'd call and complain. you paid for a suite. If one isn't available and they downgraded you to balcony there should be substantial compensation. Don't take no for an answer. Make sure it goes past the front line CS personal to the "resolutions dept."
  19. True but it is only one ship for half a year. Not exactly a extensive piece of their market upon which build their business model. Same thing goes for the Australia. The North American Market makes up the vast majority of their business. Basing your practices and procedures on that large share makes the most sense.
