  1. Great stuff, I'm going to enjoy following this one too. Quick question about embarkation. Were you required to have your ArriveCan application done prior to boarding or are you able to do that once on board?
  2. I don't drink wine... but if they were interested in dropping a bottle Tito's and a 2L of soda I think I'd be able to sustain myself through a couple days of quarantine. Even with cardboard soup cups to drink out of.
  3. I think I know the answer but I just wanted to throw it out there to make sure. I have Ovation of the Seas booked for Oct 6 Vancouver -> Hawaii in 2023. If I wanted to add the 7 day Alaskan cruise preceding, it which goes Seattle -> Vancouver, would I be in violation of PVSA. My suspicion is yes but what do the experts think?
  4. As far as close contacts are concerned, there is no difference in my life between being on a cruise ship or my day to day existence working and interacting in my social life. I'm sure that for some that is not the case but I don't believe I am at any higher risk on a cruise ship than off one.

  6. Yes a soup cup for coffee would ruin everything..
  7. Maybe I should get a booster every month and test every day. I should possibly be safe then.
  8. I have Harmony scheduled for Dec. 2023... I hope everything will be OK. Should I cancel?
  9. Nice to see pics of my old home town... Thanks for doing this review @twangster I always love your pictures.
  10. No you are right, doing that to little kids is nuts. My personal opinion is drop all restrictions and let unvaccinated and vaccinated sail equally. The thinking of my post was that dropping testing for vaccinated would be the next step in the evolution cruising returning to full normal. I just wasn't articulate enough.
  11. Our one and only Med cruise we did exactly that.
  12. They were on Adventure back in Dec 2019. I really loved them! They were very popular.
  13. If 10 is available grab that. We had it and loved it.
  14. And made to drink only the Yellow drink in the WJ that masquerades as orange juice for that day as well.
  15. What in the world could possibly be wrong with bananas next to the ketchup?
  16. We watched the video and listened to the sound of the horn while waiting in line to board. Went strait to our muster station and it was done. Love the new muster protocols. I never want to go back to standing in rows for 30 minutes in the humidity.
  17. Read that on his review an think it's brilliant. I hope it follows to all ships. The incessant reminders to get the muster done on embarkation day are annoying.
  18. Hopefully testing for vaccinated passengers disappears during the summer some time. 🙂
  19. I love aft-facing cabins... We got a great one on deck 10 of Odyssey. With an aft cabin you have a little more of a walk to cabin but you have much less traffic in from of your door at night and in the morning if you trying to sleep and you have dynamite views from an extra deep balcony.
  20. You do not need to download the app. Everything can be done from their website... https://arrivecan.cbsa-asfc.cloud-nuage.canada.ca/en/auth?returnUrl=%2Flanding-page
