We enjoyed JR' for breakfast on the Allure about 4 years ago and was free as posted here. But, on my RCL app it doesn't even show JR open for breakfast. Either they just don't show it on the app for breakfast or they just eliminated it. Sorry if this is a duplicate post.

Are you talking about 2033 - 2024. If so it might mean some major dry dock repairs or renovations which are probably due?? We are sailing Jan'23 and Daughter June '23. WAIT, I didn't notice your posting date. Sorry, but I see Harmony of the seas is being redeployment to sailing out of Galveston 2023-2024 to Western Caribbean/Mexico. A relatively short distance in Gulf.

It's official that MDR will have major changes across all RCL ships starting January 2023. This mainly to speed service. But I have to wonder about the menus and food quality. Well, we will all have to wait until Jan 2023 to see about MDR food and service since it's all about to change. This especially how they serve the food. Not sure if all RCL ships would have the same menu(seems odd) or how often it gets changed. However there's a website that published the menus @ https://profcruise.com/royal-caribbean-dinner-menus-2022/ this says last updated March 2022. Looks pretty good to me.

Had a wonderful experience on the Majestic Princess last month in Alaska. Our cabin was a DELUXE BALCONY with extra room that included a small sofa bed. + desk in addition to the queen bed.

Was on Majestic 7/9/22 cruise on DOLPHIN deck starboard side. It was only the Dolphin portside they had cordead off, so assumed for Covid. But overall good the ship was only 60% full.

So if i get this correct, if my wife and I can manage to fit all our stuff for both the land and cruise in 2 large suitcases(1 per person) plus 1 small underseat carry-on per person, then we don't need to separate the land from the cruise. That would have ALL our suitcases on the land then follow us on the truck to the ship.. if allowed. Instead of their rule of sharing 1 suitcase on land only. Then share additional suitcases for ship. Correct?

We were planning to get a rapid NAAT test on 7/3/22 at Walgreens for our cruisetour that starts 7/5/22. But many reports, remarks at the store & store phone recording that there are significant delays in reporting(2-3 days instead of listed hours). This even without a holiday. But now they are no longer free starting 7/1/22 & they can't tell us how much . I think we will try using the emed tests.

Since phoning Walgreens is a waste of time with either a recording stating that tests must be scheduled on line or getting hung up on, I tried online chat. There after pushing for an answer was told they are now only scheduling 3 days in advance. Perhaps they are getting ready to stop doing the free rapid NAAT test. But, from what we heard people aren't getting results in time for travel. Plus speculation on Facebook is that effective July 1st they won't be free. When calling the store they know nothing.

Until today you could only schedule a maximum of 7 days in advance. In fact yesterday it allowed you to schedule up to next Friday, 7/1/22. But today it only allows to schedule to 6/28. I need testing on Sunday 7/3/22 for our Princess cruisetour starting Tues. 7/5/22. All Walgreens are closed July 4th. When you call the Walgreens 800#, all you get is a recording saying you must schedule on web, but warnings that they have processing delays. Luckily as a backup my Daughter obtained some emed-tests.

I was planning to get a rapid NAAT(supposedly like PCR) from Walgreens b4 leaving home starting our Alaska land part of Majestic Princess cruisetour. But in trying to schedule for 7/3/22 they are now not showing ANY dates past 6/28/22 on their web. . Plus. their phone recording says may not be acceptable for travel because there's NO QR Code on results that are now delayed. Does anyone know what going on?

I agree. Stick with Princess or HAL to get Glacier Bay, just NOT problematic Crown Princess.

Thanks. If I need to do laundry, I'll do it myself. There are so many things to consider for this July '22 Majestic Princess cruisetour, it's becoming a real chore.

Please clarify how you get laundry detergent onboard Majestic? Or is it included in cos of us machines. We have so much to pack as it is I hate to bring detergent.

I see there's another CC thread under Princess " "Princess removed Skagway on Southbound July '23" Since we're going on Majestic , JULY 2022 , next month , sure hope it applies only to next year.

We were planning to get the rapid NAAT COVID test at Walgreens on Sunday July 3, 2022 for Princess cruisetour land July 5th arrival in Fairbanks, for their newer requirements. This because Walgreens are closed on July 4th. We are hopeful that it's acceptable vs similar PCR test, which is acceptable for ship boarding per Princess web. Also, since it's too early to schedule hoping they don't discontinue.

Well I do suspect the biggest scariest culprit for those like us on land tour. First is the bus in Denali Park & the long train ride from Denali to Whittier where masks are optional. Unfortunately the U.S courts ruled that the CDC has no jurisdiction on regulating masks on busses & trains.

Then that's your prerogative to not go on a Princess Whittier to Vancouver cruise. I for one prefer to be safe wearing a mask with others wearing a mask, that are also vaccinated & negative tested.
