Does anyone know if you have an offer for OVB and all that website shows is guarantee fir that category will club royale have access to any cabins or have to put you in guarantee category? I tried to call and sat on hold too long and gave up.

I am always amazed how some crew members remember us months later. Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling😍

There are a couple places. One opened up in 2020 called Quincy's next to Fantasy Island. Spray Beach Hotel that we can walk too also serves them but they have new owners and been making a lot of changes so not sure if they will still serve it. Blue Water Cafe and Black Whale also have good ones. Shall see who is still open.

I am sure there are lots of unhappy people. From what I read it would be cheaper to lease a cruise ship than setting up a tent city for them and shelters are already at full capacity. It's a no win for anybody🥺

I heard an interesting news story today. The Mayor of NY is working out a deal with Norwegian Cruise line to lease one of their ships for at least 6 months to house migrants at dock at Staten Island's homeport. They are also working out another deal with an Estonian company, Tallink, for a ship to house Ukrainian refugees that fled during their war. I found this very interesting and wandering how it would work.

That's great to hear the weather has improved, still crappy cold and rainy here. Did Hubby enjoy the antique fire trucks? Lobstuh roll - yummy! I hope to get one when I go to LBI in near future.

It is very sad but it is also very nice to hear the stories of compassion. I have been hearing of people that did not have wind or flood insurance as they couldn't afford it. I saw an interview with one gentlemen that said as soon as he paid off his mortgage he cancelled his wind/hurricane and flood policies as they cost too much and now that he didn't have a mortgage that required he be covered he had cancelled just a couple months ago. He is now homeless sitting on a lawn chair where his home used to be in Ft Myers. Very sad

Very scary and very sad this happened. I hope he did not break any bones or injury himself when he fell.

Sorry for the loss of your Uncle. If you have insurance that allows you to cancel for any reason then you may ok to cancel and get refund. Hopefully you won't need to cancel and can go enjoy your cruise.

You will have no trouble with a scooter on Anthem. If using your own scooter you will enter thru gang plank. No separate area like Grandeur that I know of. Waiting for elevators is a challenge on any ship. If you are sailing off season, non holiday and ship is not packed with kids you should be fine. Have a great cruise😀

Part of the problem is the sailing dates on the current certificates have been the same for a while. We had this same issue earlier this year and found no resolution. We were told we could book a spacious balcony but still get the suite perks and the freeplay. We booked it but ended up cancelling it. Time for them to update the sailing list.

I'm about 45 minutes away from KOP mall. My Brother lives in Exton so we meet up a lot for dinner or brunch at some of the surrounding restaurants. Seasons 52 is one we go to alot. Have you been there? Safe travels home😀

Annual Chowderfest @LBI has been postponed until October 16th due to weather. We might actually go this year. Our tenants that rented our house for September are due to leave tomorrow. Then we go to do a deep clean of everything, put patio furniture away for winter, etc. I think we are going to do a couple long weekends in October. Instead of taking off a week from work.

Based on the fact you had covid earlier this summer and used a recovery letter to board your August sailing chances of you contracting covid now are very slim. As long as everyone in your family feels fine go enjoy your cruise😀

Silly Eva who loves boxes and bags just had to climb in as soon as I emptied it. It has a cardboard base. She's been hanging in there for at least an hour now. Goober😺
