  1. Yes. Dude from the site we can't mention here did. He was not in a full suite. Also others on the same cruise in non-suite cabins did as well. They had a couple of over water cabanas. Mariner Day 3 - Labadee BB Cabana
  2. The fact that the CDC, THE CDC, is willing to give up all requirements to cruise says everything we need to know. This is the most risk averse public health agency that imposed all of these conditions in the first place. Now the CDC doesn't think that the protocols are required anymore. Enough said.
  3. If you enable airplane mode at home you may miss the text message that reminds you to show up on time based on your scheduled arrival time. 🙂
  4. Most of the time a WS "Suite Guarantee" will result in a Junior Suite. Just because you don't see a JS available to book doesn't mean they are not holding back JS cabins and keeping them from being displayed on the public website. The lowest category of suite that is available today is meaningless.
  5. I expect we'll get assigned a 4D cabin on the side of the ship. Same category so "like for like" in their mind. I had an aft balcony 4B through the panama canal and when they swapped ships like for like they put me in a 4B on the side of the ship. In that case the same cabin existed on the sister ship but that didn't matter. Aft, forward, side - it's all the same category to them.
  6. Anthem and Symphony summer of 2023 - all suites are out of inventory as noted on the blog message boards. That's rarely a good sign.
  7. I was finally going to try one of the forward facing balcony cabins on deck 11. Only Navigator and Voyager have them. Epic timelapse potential. Have to see what they give me on Adventure.
  8. I think the speed regulation is a red herring. They used the same excuse when they swapped Adventure and Voyager in 2023-2024 and those are identical sister ships with the same engines.
  9. I am wondering if this has to do with the sounds in New Zealand. I know there are special interest groups trying to ban cruise ships and talk of tighter environmental regulations for the sounds. I'm wondering if they needed a cleaner burning ship to satisfy visiting the sounds. Brillance can run it's gas turbines cleaner than Enchantment.
  10. Looks like Voyager's new TX based itinerary are loaded but Adventure still has TX as well. They must be setting them up at the moment then they'll batch push the cabins over. Give it a day or two for the dust to settle.
  11. Adventure and Voyager swap. Nov. 2023 through 2024. ABOUT YOUR UPCOMING TRAVELS Dear Guest, The International Maritime Organization recently shared new speed regulations we must adhere to and as a result, we’ve repositioned some of our ships for our upcoming 2023/2024 season. Our original plan for Voyager of the Seas was to offer sailings departing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida through November 4th, 2023, and Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida beginning November 10th, 2023. Instead, Voyager will now sail from Galveston, Texas beginning May 9th, 2023. Adventure of the Seas will now take Voyager’s place in Florida and will offer similar itineraries! Starting July 28th, 2022, we’ll automatically move you to the new Adventure of the Seas sailing departing on the same day as your original Voyager of the Seas cruise. While we’re confident you’ll have an amazing time and enjoy many of the same features as Voyager offers, the stateroom you’ll be re-booked in will be the best available stateroom but will be different than the original stateroom you reserved because Adventure has less staterooms in that category. We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by this change. Your vacation is important to us, and so is having the flexibility to make the best decision for you and those in your party. Below, we’ve outlined your options along with a few additional details. Option 1: Stay onboard the new Adventure of the Seas cruise. We’ll automatically move you to the Adventure of the Seas sailing departing on the same day as your original cruise. So, there’s nothing for you to do! Your new sailing will still offer the same beautiful ports as your original cruise, and it’ll depart from the same destination. We’ll move you to the best available stateroom and your original stateroom category price will either be protected at your original cruise fare rate or reduced to the current cruise fare rate (whichever is lower). This excludes taxes, fees, gratuities, and other non-cruise fare items. If your booking was already paid in full and your cruise fare rate decreases, we’ll provide you with a refund for the difference. You can expect to receive your refund to your original form of payment within 14 business days after we move you. Kindly note, refund times may vary depending on your financial institution. To sweeten the offer, you’ll receive a credit to spend onboard per stateroom: $50 USD for Interior, Ocean View, and Balcony staterooms | $100 USD for Suites Option 2: Re-book any other Royal Caribbean International sailing. If you prefer to re-book another sailing, we’ll waive any non-refundable deposit change fees. Please know, you’ll be responsible for any difference in pricing for your cruise fare, taxes, fees, gratuities, and other non-cruise fare items. If your booking was already paid in full and your cruise fare rate decreases, we’ll provide you with a refund for the difference. You can expect to receive your refund to your original form of payment within 14 business days after we move you. Kindly note, refund times may vary depending on your financial institution. Option 3: If you can’t find a new itinerary that works for you and choose to cancel, we’ll be sad to see you go. You’ll receive: A full refund of any paid portion of your cruise fare (including non-refundable deposits) and any pre-paid amenities to the original form of payment within 14 business days – some international banking and financial institutions may have a processing time of approximately 30 business days. If you used a Future Cruise Credit on this sailing, and you request a refund instead, we’ll refund any NEW funds paid above the certificate amount, and we’ll reinstate your original certificate. If you booked your airfare through Royal Caribbean International, it will be automatically refunded to you. However, if you booked on your own, please contact the service provider directly for your options with them. Please know, if you choose this option, we will not provide additional compensation. Please note, any Cruise Planner purchases for your original Voyager of the Seas sailing will automatically be cancelled and refunded to your original form of payment. Feel free to re-book these items on your new ship and sail date. There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to shifting an entire season of sailings and rebooking all guests, so we ask for your patience as we work to make this process as easy as possible for you. All moves will be completed by August 18th, 2022, and we’ll send an updated reservation confirmation with your revised details to the email address on file as soon as your reservation has been completely updated with the pricing fully adjusted. If you decide to go with Option 2 or 3, please call us at 888-281-9344 or contact your Travel Advisor by August 18th, 2022. And know, hold times may be longer than usual. If we haven’t heard from you by August 18th, 2022, you’ll remain booked on the alternate Adventure of the Seas sailing. If you have any questions, please contact your Travel Advisor immediately or contact us at: 1 888 281 9344 in the U.S. 1800 754 500 in Australia / 0800 102 123 in New Zealand In the UK only, by using our webchat service or by calling 0344 493 4005 All other countries, please visit http://www.royalcaribbean.com/contactusfor your local Royal Caribbean International office phone number. Sincerely, Aurora Yera-Rodriguez AVP | Guest Experience Royal Caribbean International
  12. Yes. Brilliance will be missed in Tampa where she has had a seasonal presence for several years. Serenade and Brilliance are very similar and slightly more updated than the other sisters with things like LED lighting around the ship.
  13. Your cruise will be moved to Brilliance. Good deal should remain intact.
  14. It was out Tuesday, I just didn't think to post about it.
  15. Two weeks in a row, hopefully this signals GGG is back to stay.
  16. Has Haiti ever been politically stable?
  17. The food spread on CocoCay is far superior to Labadee. There is room for improvement at Labadee without going full on theme park like PDCC. But... PDCC is a money printing machine. Last weekend everything was sold out at PDCC except for the zip line. PDCC has outperformed their wildest expectations. It is inevitable that they will attempt to duplicate that success at other private destinations and number one on that list is Labadee.
  18. Until they provide dates for that it's all marketing speak. Mostly aimed towards investors.
  19. Once society continues to evolve and everyone stops hyping up covid. The midterms will refocus mainstream media away from the pandemic. Right now "cruise ship outbreak" is still a juicy click bait headline the media will jump on.
