  1. I was just checking your progress on Cruise Mapper ---- Hope you enjoy Abu Dhabi. When there we took a tour to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque - Incredible.
  2. I agree. That is why the "Attention to Detail" may be the proper method. It's the little things that differentiate a "Premium" experience vs. just an experience. If they are not aware of a failure like you described they will not fix the root problem.
  3. They are on bottom Right - Here's the direct link to the page https://www.celebritycruises.com/cruise-gifts/items-results?category=ONBDCR&collection=ONBDCR Let us know if it works. Otherwise I guess you will have to call.
  4. Maybe you should stop by Captain's Club office and inquire about it or put in the attention to detail form. The form is now available on-line - usually a QR code in daily around day 2 or 3.
  5. I was watching as a local lady was chatting with a friend with a bag of groceries in the downtown area. Wham ! Within seconds a monkey grabbed her baget and off he went with her screaming and chasing behind.
  6. We will be doing the B2B Singapore -Sydney- New Zealand in 15 days then the TP. We have really cut back on bookings with Celebrity - we usually have and 10+ cruise booked and are down to 5 now. We may book something for the spring but Iain has to have cataract surgery and they can't schedule yet. So on hold waiting to work around the surgery. We did book a QM2 TA in the Fall of next year to match up with a WB TA on Celebrity.
  7. Yes you can buy it in the Gifts - https://www.celebritycruises.com/gifts From the Gift Store you can purchase On Board Credits in increments of $25
  8. Where are you off to next. We will be taking the Solstice TP in April. I have your Live Report bookmarked for quick reference.
  9. Then you will get the Christmas Sale- I've found I get the best deals by booking whenever I find something of interest and then just check often - When a price drops I send a screen shot to my Agent and he takes care of the rest. I have a little trick - I do a search and then bookmark the page where you choose the Stateroom Category. Then instead of searching, I can just click the book mark and check quickly - I keep a spreadsheet with what my current rate is for quick reference. Example: https://www.celebritycruises.com/booking-cruise/selectRoom/stateroomCategory?pID=EG12K163&sDT=2023-12-09&sCD=EG&sCT=CO&roomQuantity=1
  10. We have only been to the Azores as part of a TA. Most of our TA have been Westbound so would be in the November time frame. Of course the sea and weather have a mind of their own.
  11. Agree Ken- It is one of my goto sites or app.
  12. It is the same shell game Celebrity has played for years. At the end of the 40% off sale the increase the base price then offer a 75% discount that usually is the same price but often like in your case may find a particular cruise either slightly higher or lower. Hold off and you will probably see the price drop again. Other option is to purchase when you are comfortable and keep checking and if the price drops call in and get a price match.
  13. Yes you can purchase one wifi Package and and use it on unlimited devices but only one at at time. You don't really need to log out. When the other wants to log on they are given the option to knock the other one off line. So just coordinate.
  14. You have me rolling on the floor. I hope they aren't reading. LOL
  15. Over the past 10 years whenever they have a sale their IT team has a tendancy to blow up the system, or take certain ships off line while they load new prices.
  16. LOL --- I love the shell games they play. Up the price and then discount it by the same amount.
  17. Nice site. One that I like - http://www.stormsurfing.com/cgi/display.cgi?a=natla_height It shows the Wave Model in the North Atlantic - this is showing the storm near Azores for 7 days from today. I can understand why the Captain may choose to stay clear of it - the center is 25-35 Foot waves.
  18. That actually doesn't look bad and is consistent with what i've seen with premium. The upload looks a little slow.
  19. We do much the same - we often book with tours by locals and tell them we want to see the places that tourists don't go. I've seen more than my shares of tourist traps, churches, churches and more churches. We some times add in things we want to see - e.g. the Guggenheim but the nice things about a private tour is you can say.... OK... had enough of this.
  20. I am thinking back and we really didn't spend any time in the town itself. We hiked up to the top of the Rock and then back down. There is so much to explore on the Rock itself. We never had the "pleasure" of meeting any of the rude taxi drivers and I don't think we even stopped into any shops. Lots of the regular touristy shops. Really enjoyed exploring the Tunnels and Upper Nature Reserve.
  21. I found even with Premium we would often loose internet west of the Azores for half an hour up to a full day. Must be a dead spot for satellite connection.
  22. Sorry- They only lock additional transfers from Slot Machines. All else is fine. You can continue to play slots. You will also be able to go to the Cashier Cage and charge Chips for gambling. For gambling they give you Promotional Chips for NR OBC but any winning is returned in regular chips.
  23. Hope you enjoy Gibraltar. It is a nice port and lots to do. Just beware of those darn monkeys.
  24. You have not had very good luck. Out of 6 cruises we hit it every time except once and they diverted to Madeira instead which we really enjoyed. On one trip we missed another port due to a labor action and they gave us Gibraltar instead. I loved it as I had never been before.
  25. I think the reason is that when they are able to dock that the Azores is a Gem to visit. We have made it more times than not but last year we had a Medical Evacuation and had to divert towards Madeira putting us in 3 hours late. Good thing was they pushed back all tours and extended our departure by 3 hours.
