  1. Curious of your stop in Livorno. Are you going to hit Pisa, Florence or Both? So much to see but so little time.
  2. Interesting that they are asking you to complete the information for your Second Cruise. I don't always do it and it doesn't delay anything. As a matter of fact even when I fill out the come up to me with the Pads and ask me the same questions I filled out in the App. Maybe because of the India Visa Requirement. On our Singapore to Rome (Same port but different direction) cruise they took our Passport on CheckIn and kept them. We had to show up for Face to Face with Indian Immigration and they gave them back to us for the Face to Face and then collected them again.
  3. Does Celebrity have a Retreat Lounge at Singapore Marina Terminal? A couple years ago we were met at checkin and quickly processed through and escorted to our Suite but seem to remember it was just a terminal with a Retreat set of Counters.
  4. Another post by Leesa Wells Phenix about an hour ago- My daughter is a part of the crew and went “way under” this morning! Last day in dry dock! She’s all clean and ready to go . Thanks, Leesa for the wonderful pictures. You help the excitement grow.
  5. You can go to the front desk an ask for an Additional Tip Form. If you fill in the amount on the front that only designates positions - e.g. Waiter, Butler, Stateroom Attendant then it goes to the Ships pool for those functions. If you write the person's name on the back with location it goes to the individual. I've had that confirmed by the HR Director who is the person that applies it to their pay check. She also sends them a message that you left them a tip and the amount. I have had the people actually thank me the next day.
  6. May be unacceptable but that's what unfortunately happens when everyone decides to go to dinner at the same time. On cruise we were on in Blu the Maitre'd was visibly upset when we came to dinner late. He said he was going to get destroyed in ratings. He said 90% of his guests were lined up before he even opened up and he had to give out beepers to many of them because he filled all the tables. At 8:30 there were only 2 tables in use.
  7. In your case since you are joining on the third leg you will need to choose a time. You will not mess up anything for others in your group. Actually even after you select a checkin time you can individually change it up until 2 days prior to the cruise. Your Husband and others don't need to select a CheckIn Time as they will be handled by the ship prior to when they open general checkin. Another Option is your Husband can choose to use the Transit Pass he will receive and if he leaves prior to B2B processing he can meet you and check-in at the same time as you. He will however have to go to a different area than you for processing as a B2B.
  8. Exactly how it is calculated. If you look at the Fleet Guide it will show both 100% Capacity as Well as Maximum Legal Capacity and designate how many cabins in each class have 3 or 4 Passenger capabilities.
  9. Oh No... wonder if they will correct. LOL
  10. ooops. The trouble with retirement. How can I do that. My Birthday is November 26 the day after we board. LOL
  11. Will be following along. Love your photos and the live report.
  12. I always turn off Auto Time while on a ship. A FitBit doesn't like manually changing the time. If you manually change it the time will not sync to my FitBit. I have to find a timezone that matches ships time and then Syn my watch. It also need WiFi connected even though it is a bluetooth connection. I've been doing this for 5 years and iMessage has not been affected. I don't have a iWatch so never played with the syncing of time.
  13. Agree - I've done it multiple times but it does take a bit of tweaking if you want to inject a VPN into the signal. Nord and Express both have pretty good instruction on how to do it but took me almost a full day to get it running. So much easier to use a Travel Router with OpenVPN. I use the shared WiFi Connect in order to be able spoof location for streaming.
  14. We ended one cruise on Christmas Eve in Buenos Aires and each day more and more decorations would show up. By departure she was fully decorated with both Christmas and Hanuka decorations. that year the two celebrations had a very close date.
  15. Been on many Thanksgiving cruises. They have a huge Thanksgiving selection of Carved Turkey and all the fixings in OVC for Lunch. Never looked at dinner. In all other dining rooms they have either an on menu or off menu selection of Turkey Dinner. The normal menu choices are also available. The ship is decorated for Thanksgiving and next day they tear down and start decorating for Xmas
  16. Your right... I never really look. I hate to say it I rarely fly United anymore. Their prices are much higher. All my miles go to Chase Sapphire and if I were to book United it is usually cheaper to buy via Chase than the same flights on United. In 40 years I've never flown coach on an International flight so I will bow to your knowledge of what the segregation is behind the curtain.
  17. Just a suggestion if still having problem with plumbing. Either leave a written Attention to Detail form at the front desk or fill out the Electronic Version - Usually they have a QR code for it around mid cruise. It is immediately received by the Hotel Director.
  18. What I do - have recently done was to link reservations and then one person can go in at Midnight Cruise Departure point time - e.g. 12 midnight is 9PM PST. I was linked to our friends in Australia and all the reservations show up under my cruise planner. Using the App (go direct to checkin time) - I then select the same time for each person on each of the reservations. Everyone can come back later and fill in the rest of their checkin -passport etc.
  19. The market seems pleased since they topped estimates. Up $1.26.
  20. Usually around 30 days prior to the cruise. Mine for the Singapore Edge 11/25 came this morning at least for U.S. reservations. I received an Email with documents attached and the link on the Web came live
  21. Incredible for sure - But be aware of the dress regulations The official guidance says "Long, loose fitting, ankle length trousers or skirts for women and men. Women must wear a headscarf. Arms need to be covered as well.
  22. The speeds John posted are pretty much true to all the ships. Starlink has much higher capabilities but they throttle it down to that speed. I was on Equinox when it went live (but not announced) We were hitting speeds of 90 MPS but on the next cruise they throttled it down. For phone calls you can turn on Phone over Wifi and works perfect. Make sure you put your phone on Airplane Mode when at sea or you will be shocked by a high cellular bill. Face time is also an option over WiFi. Never experienced noticeable lag time I've done many Zoom Calls. Be aware that is is not uncommon to hit dead spots where you loose Internet and even TV signal for minutes to hours. When in Ports I have T-Mobile with 198 Country free roaming and use that instead.
