  1. They usually have one Suite concierge handle each ship and is not done by country. In my experience they always contact CS and above by both phone call and email but for SS mostly via email and sometimes an actual phone call. If you are repeat suite passenger they usually will already have a profile on file for you with past choices.
  2. The Cloth Bags measure 18" X 17 and have a draw line. Since we only travel in suites not sure if they are now using cloth bags for all rooms. In the past they used paper bags for Concierge and Below.
  3. They usually become available about 30 days prior to cruise. You will get an email with the cruise documents attached. Also on you Reservation a link will become active.
  4. For me when I booked a Future Cruise Certificate on board, it immediately showed up in list of my reservations. When I booked a cruise the booking number remained the same as the booking number for the future cruise certificate.
  5. Unless things have changed - I do have the same recollection. The use to have free coffee in the Hidaway near the entrance
  6. I think it's free like other drinks that are offered to those playing. At least I ordered a cup and was not asked for my card.
  7. Choose each bar and in the middle near the opening time select Menu - you will see the individual drink prices.
  8. The also have coffee (free) in Spa Cafe between 7 and 10 and 12noon until 2:00pm, Roof Service (fee may apply). MDR when open for lunch. I believe they also have coffee available at the Casino Bar. They may also have free coffee at Eden Cafe when open --- don't recall. Eden Cafe, Il Segundo al Bacio, Al Bacio Le Grand Bistro - coffee for a fee,
  9. While not on Edge I was able to participate on a number of Zoom Calls using the premium on Apex. Since they are both Edge Class I would assume the results would be similar. For the TransAtlantic I had a separate thread on speed test using Starlink. Solid connection on TA. @KenTheCruiser was also doing live with daily speed tests on Eclipse Sydney to Vancouver. His speeds were as solid and same range as in the Atlantic.
  10. I didn't find the menu item for casting on my cruises earlier this year but at least on Apex it was available. If it's not on the screen if you use the remote process and select the second icon for casting. Not as easy because you have to identify you individual tv and about 8 are listed all the same. Trial and error. If unavailable I would use the HDMI port. On the screen shots. I had to change my language to English.
  11. iPhone - PC, as well as things like Roku and Firestick if using the HDMI instead of casting.
  12. Love reading your positive report. I can say I was never disappointed in any venue with the exception of Raw on 5. Was just a weird experience and maybe an off night. About 45 minutes before we left the Sommelier walked by and said good night. Food was exceptional and service was OK but not great. Our Sommelier Ally was truly the best we have had on any ship.
  13. I believe the OP has read many reports here where E-Class ship have been dropping the reservations system even for people that had reservations for months before the cruise. The ships have recently been doing away with both fixed time dining and reservations in lieu of anytime dining.
  14. Was on Apex recently and know one of the Maitr'd from Luminae that was working in the Main Dining Room (he was going home the next week and his replacement had arrived). I asked him and he said that they do have reservations available at least at one of the dining rooms but most worked on first come basis. He did indicate that if you had a reservation it would be honored but like all other establishments if earlier diners don't leave at a predicted rate there may be a wait. A person with a reservation will be seated before a walk up if there happens to be a wait.
  15. The Ship's arrival and departure time should be shown on both the ports schedule as well as the scheduled departure and arrival time of your cruise and the one before. While there can be variations the normal is the ships arrive early and walk offs begin around 7:00 AM and general disembarkation begin around 7:15-7:30. Final Call is usually around 9:00. The terminals usually don't allow any luggage drop off or entry into the terminal until the ship is zeroed out - Approximation 9:30 -10:00. Porter service should begin shortly after that time.
  16. With all due respect, I would believe the correct wording would be Survival, Survival and Survival. The most recent quarterly report showed RCL lost 48 Million quarter ending March and depleted 709 Million in Cash.
  17. The TV's currently offer two options. First and easiest - On the TV main menu there is a menu item called "Streaming Services". Click that and it will pop up a window with a passcode number. From you iPad select you app that has streaming and click the streaming icon. It will find you TV and have a block to enter the passcode. Bam... you connected. Second - takes some equipment. You will need a firewire to HDMI Cable Connect the to iPad and TV Follow the following movie instructions. I generally find this method to give best quality.
  18. Really looking forward to your posts. It is getting me excited about my first Ponant Cruise in September.
  19. Seabourn is on our list. We just need to find a slot as we have cruises booked trough November 2024.
  20. While not Champagne on current cruises on Basic Package for Sparkling they have Brut, Celebrity Vintages - Loire, France Prosecco - Zonin, Italy Zonin Rose - - Zonin, Italy
  21. Next is going to be our first Non-Celebrity cruise. We are doing a Trial Cruise on Ponant on September 11. Will probably be doing a comparison on the Celebrity Forum. It's a totally different small ship product so will be interesting.
  22. When you overnight - once checked in can come and go at will. There is no curfew and they will have security on hand all nigh long. For Embarkation, on similar cruises they allow embarkation to a certain time and then often can arrange for a later arrival by appointment.
  23. It may depend on you disembarkation time. Usually walk offs beginning around 7:00 followed by Suites and Zeinth. Final call is usually 9:00 and b2b processing at 9:15. If you don't get an early slot I understand you can ask for an earlier time be going to the Front Desk.
  24. On both Premium and Basic you can change between unlimited devices simply by logging on using the new device. You will be asked if you want to boot the other one off and when you respond Yes the new device is logged in. I switch back and forth regularly.
