  1. The good thing is that in the RS you also have one of the same size inside in your Bathroom. I agree that the one on the deck is a waste of space but have used it a couple times. Was just nice soaking in hot water while watching the ocean go by.
  2. I think you will enjoy regardless... I'm not big on laying in the sun but walk long distance daily.
  3. There is on caveat - You can only do this on M and S class ships. The waiters don't mind as the restaurants share the same kitchen area. Due to location of kitchens this is not available on E-Class ships.
  4. I guess I was a bit unclear. You can buy a Future Cruise Certificate for $100 pp but don't need to pay the additional until you have you agent book a upper suite. At the time of booking the $900 deposit is due either on board or when using the FCC.
  5. At the very top of the Topic - You can also click on you name next to picture Top right Corner and choose Manage Followed Content
  6. When I've been in RS and Above the Magic Carpet and the Chef B's Dinner were not included in the free dining.
  7. A quick question that I should know. Are the benefits the same regardless of booking on-board or selecting the future booking form. BTW - I learned that you can pay the $100 pp for the certificate and still book an upper suite (limiting you out of pocket at time of purchase). When you our your agent go to book they just collect the additional Deposit
  8. I had the same thing happen. In my case I had just fired the TA. I contacted her and asked her to transfer it back to me, which she did quickly. Uncomfortable BUT......
  9. I think you will really enjoy your cruise. The "Class System" is not as distinct as you might think. While Suites and Aqua do have separate dining rooms most guests still socialize in the same public spaces. They do have a Theater for evening Shows and Lectures there is also a Movie Theater that is also used for late night comedy and other things. Music done throughout the ship with most sets lasting 50 minutes. They will perform in different Bars, Main Foyer, al Bacio, Sky Lounge, Pool Stage, Ocean View outside area. You may wish to download the Celebrity App - You can choose an existing sailing and go to cruise planner (un-filter from recommended to all) and you can view a representative listing hourly
  10. Loving your pictures. What type of camera are you using? I especially love the red sky one in message 19. Jim
  11. We have been using both Uber and Lyft in Fort Lauderdale for about 5 years. Never had a problem getting from FLL to hotels. Hotel to Port and Port to FLL. I usually check both apps and select by time and price.
  12. Charla - enjoyed another wonderful live post. Safe travels home.
  13. That's really a good point that alternate pier I understand can be a real mess. - Luckily I didn't have to use it.
  14. If you go to Following - you can choose how often you receive notifications - You probably have the default currently set
  15. That's correct. Also if you have a drink package you can drink it anywhere without corkage fee.
  16. I just checked Apex on 3 upcoming cruises and flowers not offered for any of them.
  17. John - I was able to pull up the disembarkation letter. They don't include any information for Suite Guest. From my past cruises on Solstice - You go to Retreat and once they complete walk off's the concierge will escort those wanting to disembark. They have Camera Immigration which takes seconds and Suite Luggage will be available and waiting.
  18. Does seem a little sparse. Have you considered ordering one of the Entrees as a Starter or something off the classic anytime menu e.g. the Shrimp Cocktail or Escargot?
  19. So sorry the sea's were so rough. You are luck that you can tolerate SeaSickness meds. They knock me out totally. As a kid I got motion sickness really bad but once I became a pilot it went away for car sickness and flying but was still affected at sea. I had a trick of Sea Sickness and would take a pill the night before and would get a good nights sleep. It would calm my inner ear down enough that I wouldn't need another for a cruise. Over time it went away and now not affected (but still carry some pills just in case).
  20. If you search and none available they are probably sold out
  21. Yes - The ones that stop in Azores is a Mid-Atlantic. The Southern Crossing are the ones that sail South to the Canary Islands. Like you said weather is unpredictable but normal the cruise will be on the mild side in Barcelona and Azores (60-70). Comfortable but not sun bathing weather. I was on one cruise and going past Gibraltar with heavy winds I froze my A$$ off As you sail toward Bermuda the weather will get warmer 70-75 and will be toasty from there to FLL
  22. For the 4/15 prices are as below. Just checked TA and they aren't offering it - at least pre-sail. Gary may have booked before they raised prices. With tip and discount now $140pp
  23. Thanks Gary. We will be on for 3 cruises and suspect the TA may be a good choice. Our first stop is Bermuda and they may schedule that for the event.
