  1. I recently obtained COR's for both or us who tested positive in the UK. Just googling on COR brought up many companies that did it on line for approx 50-100 each. You just uploaded your passport picture, positive test results showing date and time of test and paid a fee. Certificate sent in about 1 hour. I used ours with United to get home by uploading both positive test result and COD to United. For return to U.S. a Positive Antigen or PCR can be used but cruise lines are requiring a PCR test only.
  2. No - you can add additional people at the Photo Shop for facial resolution - Also all the other person needs to do is give them your room number when having a photo taken.
  3. Your correct I was thinking of paying bills through bill pay. Regardless I personally would have no problem making a payment. Payment could also be made by making a phone call using a voice over ip connection
  4. See below. Questions are same regardless of location The last question is cut off but I believe it was I last day have you been in contact with someone who tested positive
  5. If you have an agent you can simply tell them when you wish to process your payment. I don't use a Celebrity Travel Planner but they may also be able to set it up for you like any other travel agent. I make many payments while at sea and have never had a problem with hackers. I do use a VPN to protect my data but doubt you would would be at much risk on a cruise ship. After all most likely you are logging onto a https (secure) connection to the bank and you don't actually put in your banking details you only select it from a list of saved payment methods.
  6. Agency OBC is not available until you board the ship. Really shouldn't make a difference as it is usually refundable so just charge what you want on your credit card and if you don't use your Agency OBC it goes back on your CC which would offset your charge. Sometimes an agency gives a NR OBC (as part of a promotion) and that would usually be available per-cruise. Best to check with your agent. Also if you had a price reduction match after final payment it is usually applied as a NR OBC.
  7. Celebrity doesn't have a business center but does have an Internet Cafe which has a number of computers that are attached to a printer. You can print from these computers but if I recall they are Back and White printers and none of the computer have USB's which are active due to provisions to prevent virus. I don't think anyone would prevent you from printing b/w pictures on regular paper. If you wanted something printed in color like you describe it may be best to find a place while on a port stop. The Photo Center does printing of photos shot by the photographer while on the ship.
  8. While haven't been on Reflection I was just off Silhouette and we had signed up for the Photo Package. Every night they have about 3 spots setup for photos with changing backgrounds. On Chic nights they ramp it up to about 6 - Front Foyer, Near the Casino, Near Martini Bar and adjacent to the Specialty Dining. They also have photographer offering pictures in the dining room. We found that we got our money's worth. I don't recall seeing them at the ports but wasn't really looking for them. With the package if you see a photographer just ask him to shoot a picture regardless of where you are. They get to know you wand will do more casual posing etc.
  9. I guess it depends on whether you want to eat with all 8 at one table or break up into smaller groups and get in earlier.
  10. Abby - Good luck. I know from your e-mail that you sounded really depressed before you go everything worked out. Look on the positive side - you will be rewarded with an unexpected positive experience on your cruise. Maybe the Northern Lights or a pod of whales.
  11. To my knowledge there was never a "fleet wide policy" on Celebrity regarding B2B testing. RCL initially posted something but Celebrity never followed their lead. My understanding is that Celebrity follows their own protocols as well as country specific protocols while in Europe. The U.K. has eliminated all Covid restrictions while I believe the Netherlands still have quarantine regulations in place, as some have reported their passports being taken away until completion of quarantine. It appears that when infection rates go above a certain level Celebrity increase sanitation and possible trigger B2B testing.
  12. A warning for all you MGM members - I got a notification today that my email showed up on a new Data Breach at MGM - Reported on May 28, 2022 - so far appears to be only phone number and email address.
  13. I did as there wasn't any other option. Part of the requirements are you are a U.S. resident. Even though I was in the UK when I failed my test they advised both the State and County Health with my failed results. I started receiving messages from them about quarantining immediately.
  14. I had received a letter from them on the ship that they would cover up to $250 day for housing and $100 pp for food. I chose a REALLY NICE AirBnB for about $265 a night and had to submit actual receipts for meals. Figured if they were paying I was going to to enjoy our quarantine.
  15. I WOULD NOT recommend not keeping the camera on the test. While the agent isn't on the line I've been told by someone who use to work for Navica that it is filmed and that you could invalidate your test if they discover you didn't keep the camera on the test. It is a security measure to make sure you don't mess with the test. The instruction on the screen specifically indicate that you must keep the camera on the test during the 15 minutes. Of course, each can do as they choose but I have a tendency of following instructions and rules.
  16. Thanks for your report. It is always good to get another real life experience. I'm still trying to get my head around how they are deciding which cruises there is b2b testing and which aren't. Were you also on Equinox? I can tell you I was happy we tested positive the day before as it allowed me time to book a car and AirBnB. I'm wondering if those that tested positive were just tossed off the ship.
  17. I believe you can also cancel and rebook using the App. I know I've used it to make a reservation pre-covid but would expect it to be the same. You can also just ask the person at the front desk to change it for you also.
  18. As others said. Please let the tour group leader know. We were on a tour in Japan and a group of 4 left the tour and grabbed a cab back to the ship but didn't tell the guide. A full bus load of us sat there for over an hour while the tour guide tried to locate them.
  19. Sorry to hear. That is exactly what I did and they said they would pay for 5 days. I haven't seen it yet but they asked me for a Credit Card to have it sent to. From previous refunds from Celebrity they usually batch them and they go out on Thursday evening and are usually broken down into many small transactions. Not sure what they will do with a full cruise. At the same time I cancelled a cruise I booked in error and the deposit came back in this weeks batch as i received it on Friday. I have no idea how we were infected but I think it may have been one of our two butlers, 2 room attendants or sommelier that tested positive. We didn't do any Celebrity Tours and were pretty well distanced and wore masks all the time. Oh well.... Things happen. I'm also sorry we didn't get to see the Norwegian Fjords - I saw some wonderful pictures.
  20. It is any cabin in that class. e.g. if you bid on an SS you could get either a SS1 or SS2 or like us once a disability cabin. I always expect the worst cabin in the classification and if I get a better cabin it's a bonus.
  21. There have been a couple posts on this recently. To my knowledge there isn't anything officially posted but it is dependent on Cruise Departure and Destination. Reports have been no B2B testing on recent Caribbean Cruises, Alaska Cruises and Silhouette out of Southampton. Italian Cruises have been requiring B2B testing . Would really be helpful if you can confirm once complete with your B2B. I suspect you won't be tested as usually B2B testing is done early on day before turn around day.
  22. Sorry to hear you have had such a tough time. I suspect there are a number of variants circulating around and you must have contracted the Original Covid. I tested positive and virtually had no symptoms except for a dry cough for a couple days. I really count myself lucky and suspect I had the less severe omicron variant. We only had one booster as the Vax was only approved a day before we left on our trip but will be getting it about 3 weeks before our next cruise.
  23. On all of our recent cruises they have enforced boarding times. At FLL they had lanes setup like at the airport and if there was a lag they would allow some on the next line to enter the terminal. As other said - Zenith's and Suites can board anytime. You can tell the floor of the dining by going to the App and look under Dining - Looks like you will be out of luck for Deck 4 Railing Seating unless you are able to get Select. On Equinox - Select Dining - Deck 4 Aft Main dining - Deck 3 Aft
  24. Perfect. Iain didn't originally test positive on the ship but tested positive on our home tests the next day . On the second day ashore I suggested he used one of his Proctored Tests which he of course failed so we were able to get a positive Antigen for return to the U.S. 11 days later.
