  1. I agree with recommendation of Rome Cabs (they don't use cabs usually Mercedes). I've never had a problem with them and they were always there ahead of schedule.
  2. Personally I would purchase a couple test kits at eMeds
  3. If you had a PCR my understanding is you are good for both 90 Days and 9 Months. 90 Days from PCR DATE to enter the US and 9 Months to be used for pre-testing on Celebrity. It was funny - When we tested positive they sent us a link to pick up a prescription at either a CVS or Walgreens. Kinda difficult when your not in the U.S. Luckily we didn't need it as we were very mild.
  4. Thanks for the information. I wasn't aware they had been updating the app so often. I'll make sure i check for updates before using.
  5. Sorry to hear of the inability to purchase Scopolamine patches . As far as I know they are still available in the U.S. by prescription. My understanding and you should confirm the patches you may have purchased are not Scopolamine and are a "herbal mixture". If you look at the description or al the pictures it will show you which herbs. Whether they will work is questionable. A possible solution is to check via google for U.S. Online Doctors or an Immediate Care Doctor in the U.S. - pay a fee and they will send you a prescription that you could pick up at a U.S. Pharmacy. I would expect they may be expensive but may be worth it depending on your husbands requirements. The online pharmacies will most likely need a U.S. address possibly use a U.S. Friends address. Example - https://www.pushhealth.com/drugs/scopolamine?gakey=&gclid=CjwKCAjw7cGUBhA9EiwArBAvolmznyYJeEemUhsC6IyLVOl69bdR6utMHqxVCU7JEefXY523zt57wBoCTwYQAvD_BwE
  6. Sorry to hear of your husbands kidney stones. My understanding is that options will be dependent on when you booked. If you booked before March 31 and cruise is before September 30th you are covered by "Cruise with Confidence" This will allow you to cancel within 48 hours and get FCC. If purchased after March 31 you will have to rely on insurance. As for your daughter. A COR is an option but the requirements for Celebrity are that the Positive Results must be on a PCR TEST. The COR is issued at 10 days from the date on the PCR test. If she tested with an Antigen LFT she will not be able to get one for Cruisisng. If that is the case hope she tests negative soon. I tested positive through day 11.
  7. That was my understanding when they gave out the coupons or auto loaded coupons.
  8. Sorry to hear Stan. In retrospect. I wish we had paid a bit more and gotten a PCR test while we were testing positive and then using the COR acceptable by Celebrity for 9 months from positive. The antigen COR is only good for 3 months for entry into the U.S.
  9. For flying the one I obtained in the U.K. they also asked for a passport number and the name on the certificate of recovery was entered exactly as on my passport. I had to attach both the Positive Test Result and the COR for airline approval Mine looked like the stock photo I am posting below. Basic Info - Date of Positive Test, Name, Passport Number, Date of Birth, type of Test (PCR or Antigen) , Sex and if you chose you could have date of travel put on certificate. It was electronically signed by the Doctor that managed the certifying company with the NHS Doctor Registration number.
  10. I haven't used one for a cruise with Celebrity but a couple weeks ago I used it for return to the U.S. Just uploaded it to United - the request was for either a COR or Negative Test within 1 day of flight. It was approved in 30 minutes and never asked for it again at the airport. I'm sure you will probably have to show it at Celebrity Checkin.
  11. Good to know. I don't worry about it. If it doesn't show up they will fix it for you pretty quickly.
  12. Sorry you couldn't get a straight answer. The ship does arrive very early and will be at the dock at 6:00 AM. The ship has to be cleared by Immigration and port authorities. There should be no delays but at times there are. Disembarkation usually begins around 6:30 with Walk Offs followed with the numbering system. The ship will be totally cleared no later than 9:00. The drive from the Port to FCO takes approximately 40-45 minutes. I've scheduled pickup before at 8:00 and had no trouble making a noon flight. If you are flying to the U.S. from FCO on a U.S. Carrier the check in is at Terminal 5 and could take 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours - They usually recommend to allow 3 hours to check in and get to your departure terminal.
  13. Curious if you went to Cruise Planner and clicked on Order History Plan my Cruise / Then choose Order History - It should be shown there.
  14. Thanks much. I'm hoping there will be no B2B testing for our Summit Island cruise from Newark. I'm sure the news will help you enjoy your cruise without the worry of the dreaded early morning B2B test.
  15. Similar to you I tested Negative on 4/28 at 9:00 PM (self tested antigen) before our 7:30 AM B2B test. I thought no problem but when I got my results back that I had tested Positive My jaw dropped to the floor. Iain thought i was pulling his leg until the Doctor showed up at the door a couple minutes later. Thinking it was a false positive I tested the next day after getting tossed off the ship and the Positive showed within 15 seconds even before the test got up to the control line.
  16. On a couple other posts (possibly FB) it was stated that you store all the information on you smart device and have to submit the entry document no earlier than 72 hours prior to EACH arrival into Canada from a foreign port. For our New England cruise in September our first Canadian Port is Halifax on Day 3 so I presume we will have to show proof of submission when we check in. Since we are on a B3B (last segment) will be interesting to see how they treat the B2B passengers. I've already per-loaded mine so the final submission with ship and date should be pretty quick and painless.
  17. I just did a move-up bid yesterday and yes for each of the bids I had to put in a credit card, CCV, name and e-mail address. I used the same credit card that I paid my final payment with but it is not automatically charged to the card you booked with.
  18. Just to make sure I searched Costco Travel FAQ site - Does Costco Travel participate in any cruise line bid-to-upgrade programs? No. Costco Travel does not participate in any bid-to-upgrade programs, such as: RoyalUp with Royal Caribbean® or MoveUp with Celebrity Cruises. https://costco-travel-us-mbr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4142/~/does-costco-travel-participate-in-any-cruise-line-bid-to-upgrade-programs%3F
  19. Yes - Suites and Zenith can board at any time regardless of what you may get on your boarding pass. On our recent cruise they opened up the Retreat Boarding Lounge at about 10:30 but those boarding that early had to wait a bit to go onto the ship.
  20. I was on Millennium in October. At that time everything on board was at least 2 generations old . Recently on Silhouette and they had some old Apple Product at the beginning of the TA but was sold out of all Apple Product by the end of the cruise. On the next Cruise nothing was replaced. I was told that they would not be replacing product until 100% of existing stock is sold. Really stupid in my opinion considering how much OBC people have.
  21. It was really weird to test positive again after testing negative. We continued to test positive through day 12 but the line was really light pink and each day got a little lighter. I've also read recently that a common factor from those that take Paxlovid they are testing positive again at about day 5-6
  22. I will let the OP answer but have done a couple tests while aboard. 1. Wait time usually no more than 30 seconds 2. Day of the week really didn't matter. I've done tests on Week Days, Holidays and Weekend with no difference in wait time 3. Printed Copy is not required 4. I did mine on Solstice , Silhouettes and Constellation One further suggestion was to use an earbud. Many of the proctors are from India and the Philippines and occasionally I have had one that was hard to understand (also maybe my hearing). If using a phone getting a cheap tripod is rally helpful as you have to keep the test in view of the camera for the entire 15 minute processing time. When the 15 minutes are up you press a button and are connected to an agent to read your results.
  23. I've had a room adjacent to the elevator and heard nothing from the elevators. We did hear some inconsiderate guests having loud discussions REALLY LATE at night in the hall which could happen anywhere.
  24. I don't believe you can change it online. You might be able to Cancel you Upgrade and then when you rebid put in a different card.
  25. We experienced the same on United out of LHR the requirement is from the U.S. Government and United was only adhering to the requirements. If you husband was able to test negative he could have used that instead of the certificate of recovery. In our case we continued to test positive for 12 days so the Certificate of Recovery was our pass home.
