The Chinese central government has just lifted the ban on cruise ships for Hong Kong and Shanghai. That was nice, I remember before the pandemic the electricians built a Christmas tree out of old bulbs. Unfortunately a lot of people are taking their frustrations out on the crew. My favourite was a woman demanding for one of the crew to push her around the ship and Hobart on a wheelchair . She didn’t seem disabled as she was standing and arguing with the hotel manager.

I’m more concerned about the black mould that’s on the ships after being layed up and the air conditioning being turned off.

The seas have been pretty wild for the last week down there .Ovations outer decks where closed to passengers for most of the time. It does make you wonder how someone could go over the side accidentally.

I’m currently on Ovation and I thought the entertainment selection is pretty good. Pixels is on just about every night,Live love legs was on and last night there where 4 gigs going at once last night. Schooner bar had the stowaway pianist ,music hall had Flash ,the pub had someone with a guitar and Bolaros had a Caribbean band . All at once. I think the band `switched on ‘my have been put off because there was a lot of trouble with the audience,they where very good. I haven’t seen much in the way of off ship entertainers but I’m sure they are coming.

By the time we have a new berth in Botany they will need another 2 .

Good review, I would like to go on P&O again but it’s just the food and coffee over a period of time would break you.
