How would Anthem go split between L.A and Alaska? 3 Quantum class in Alaska would be a good money spinner. That could bump Navigator to Australia over Christmas.

The star wharf is the usual wharf. What a hassle,you would think they would tender to the ferry wharf near the casino. There must be some kind of agreement to do so many calls into vanuatu that was made when they signed the Lelepa lease. Thats only reason I can think they would do so many overnight tenders.

It’s going to be a long season. It must have cost Princess a lot ,paying for transport and accommodation for the last cruise. I think the cruise lines are hurting, the way Royal is price gouging they seem to be putting profits ahead of everything else.

That’s bad ,even P&O insists on hand washing. Those masks must be stale after a few days. No wonder the media bashes Princess.

I don’t know if Ovation ever did dock there ,maybe someone knows. If it did maybe there was some damage to the dock or maybe it’s a better option to tender into town. But one of the big downsides of Vila is the lack of services and order on the dock. Being dropped off right in town would be nice but it might just move the football scrum into town.

You shouldn’t find it hard to buy booze in Australia. If you do forget ,at the last minute before boarding there’s a small place at circular quay called Mr liquor just under the train station or opposite the ferry wharf. We call them a bottle shop. We have kettles in the cabin on Australian sailings,if you see some nice tea you might want to grab some. We have a local tea ,grown near cairns.

Good to see you got into town . The Grace Hotel is nice , one of those local secrets we love. A old department store modernised into a hotel. If you want any local tips ,just ask.

I think a lot of those prices are aimed at the cashed up Americans. A good exchange rate and a once in a life holiday.

Yep who knows. I did a overnight in noumea once on voyager and the ship put on a night out to lemon bay . It was pretty good even the captain and some of his officers where there.

Ok , I thought most arrived in the afternoon. I’m on one in a couple of days and it arrives in the afternoon. I presume a late departure from Sydney and that little extra distance puts the ship there late.

Royal Caribbean really lacks in the IT department. They have quite a few overnights in Vila this season. They all get there in the late afternoon on the first day and leave the afternoon /evening on the second day. I don’t think they do any shore excursions on the first day. They are all in the morning of the second day. Im hoping the tender goes into town and not the cruise wharf. Which would be very good.

That’s part of the fun being RIPPED Off uncle Les ( if you let it happen) I think there was a saying, A trap for young players. Just like those cougars,you need to have your wits about you.

I’m on the 16th cruise also. It still looks like a self test and they have been asking to see a photo. You should be able to drop your bags at the overseas passenger terminal from 8:00 in the morning . Apparently boarding at the moment is from 1:00 but see what happens after the Princess ship being in the headlines. Id suggest check out of your hotel,drop your bags and do some site seeing. See you onboard.

There supposed to be a fairly good American BBQ just near batt street, have you tried it? I’m from western Sydney, I know my place in the world .
