  1. I just paid off a July cruise (CocoCay/Western) & my taxes went down by $7, lol. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  2. Congrats! I'm glad you're excited and I hope others telling you that it was a high bid doesn't detract from your excitement. If you're happy with what you paid; that's all that matters!
  3. Same deal, it logged me out yesterday but hasn't since I logged back in with my new PW. I updated the app yesterday (iOS).
  4. Everything still OK for me since changing my PW about 24 hours agoā€¦ for now at least. I donā€™t get logged out of the app btw.
  5. Iā€™ll try to remember to follow up here.
  6. The April 18 in my example is my next oneā€¦ so you and me both!
  7. If it doesn't, click on the person icon towards the top right that takes you to the screen with some of your cruise info and where it says "Check-in opens April 18" (or whatever) will change to a check-in button you can click once check-in opens.
  8. We just turned D+. Iā€™m going to be somewhere in between you two. My wife probably uses 2-3/day. 7-8 is plenty for me.
  9. That's not correct. That is a very good sign that you did indeed win the bid that says "pending."
  10. Fair enough. I'm sure they will eventually.
  11. That is NOT the type of surprise I had in mind! šŸ¤£
  12. It looked like total chaos as we were leaving the MDR after early seating last month. I wouldn't even call it a "line", it was more like a crowd that extended back to the elevators like you mentioned.
  13. If mine sees this and wants to buy me something for July... I like surprises. šŸ˜
  14. El Loco Fresh has outdoor seating and had a small but adequate breakfast buffet last June but no more breakfast when I was on her last month. šŸ™ It was pretty empty in June so maybe they discontinued it to save money but I thought it was a nice spot if you just wanted basic breakfast (eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc.) and nice outdoor seating. You could easily take something from WJ up to the tables outside ELF if you wanted. ELF is right above the WJ on Wonder. Just throwing it out there. Wonder is currently my favorite ship; been on her twice and still excited about the next one in June!
  15. Some good info on Nachi Cocom in this thread... I didn't personally love it when I was there in October (awful frozen drinks and unremarkable food) but it was definitely quiet and peaceful. Also, you get a 4-course meal, no buffet or unlimited food. And as mentioned above, you take your own taxi (which is very simple and well organized). Trying Paradise Beach this summer for a better food/drink experience but there will definitely be kids there so you'll have to decide which factors are most important to you.
  16. Search YouTube for videos. There are some pretty good ones that show you the beach beds close-up. Also, Paradise Beach was very responsive via e-mail when I had questions before booking a daybed if you want to go that route. Hope that helps.
  17. I had no issues yesterday but woke up to "wrong password" on both the app (iPhone) and website. Changed my password and all seems to be working fine now.
  18. Hey, Iā€™m on that sailing. I was just on Wonder a few weeks ago for the 2nd time. Love the ship. Show reservations traditionally open up online (I prefer the website to the app) early in the month before your sailing month (so early May in this case). However, some people have recently reported being able to make reservations even earlier for some ships so just keep an eye out. You can also check the roll callā€¦ I have a general idea of how MTD works but Iā€™ll let someone else take that one as we always choose traditional dining. Someone else will also have to help with slide & zip line advice. I can tell you no reservations are needed but we donā€™t do them so I couldnā€™t tell ya when theyā€™re least crowded. Check the port of call forums for Roatan & Costa Maya excursion suggestions. Sorry that wasnā€™t more helpful. This will be my 3rd time on Wonder & weā€™ve been on quite a few Oasis class cruises; you just happened to ask about stuff we donā€™t do. If you have any other questions about the ship, feel free to ask here or in the roll call.
  19. Thanks for the timely review! Glad #14 worked out since I passed along the recommendation, lol. Hope you're enjoying my favorite ship! Any food or drink highlights?
  20. Captain Bob's speedboat snorkel tour... https://www.soualigadestinations.com/most-popular-tour-for-cruise-ship-visitors/ Just did this for the 2nd time last month. It has a little bit of everything. You tour the island by extremely fast and fun boat that holds about 15 people (not for those who suffer from motion sickness), make 2 snorkel stops (we saw dolphins, lots of turtles, and stingrays), make a couple beach stops, and stop offshore of Maho Beach to see the planes land. Your captain will tell you all about the island (shout out to Brett, Bob's son, but I'm sure they're all good). There is also lunch served onboard... a choice of about 5 different sandwiches on french baguettes (there was enough for people to have 2 if they wanted), lots of chips, fruit, and unlimited beer, soda, water, and rum. *Lunch used to be served at a great little bar/restaurant that was sadly destroyed by Hurricane Irma shortly after we were there. I enjoyed the sandwiches but I miss the restaurant and its freshly grilled food.
  21. We've never even eaten at Chops but GT has always been our favorite specialty dinner and I've heard this same opinion from countless people over the years. I also enjoy being able to get a good pasta dish along with my filet.
