  1. And no greater place to find them than on the interwebs!
  2. Sure, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't move your cabin if others are available given that it is allowed. I used to book nothing but GTY's and moved my cabin pretty much EVERY cruise. Plenty of times I was fine with my assignment but, especially when ships weren't this full, there was always something slightly better so why wouldn't I move? On the last GTY I ever booked, last October, I think I moved twice in the last 2 weeks before my sail date.
  3. Can't help you with the technical issue but I can tell you they are completely useless and you're better off trashing them anyway.
  4. Once you are officially assigned your cabin, the cruise docs "should" update shortly thereafter. If your official assignment comes very close to sailing, you can fill them in yourself or just ask the porters at the port... they have blank luggage tags.
  5. Like many things, WJ open time varies. It was open before 11am on Wonder in June. If you go as soon as it opens (my usual M.O.), it's not crowded at all in my experience. Many cruisers haven't boarded yet, not everyone heads there immediately, etc.
  6. Haven't been on Allure for almost a decade but I think you summed it up. As for the drink menu, those are just Royal's signature drinks. You can order frozen drinks at any bar that has a blender (most of them). If they have the ingredients, they can make anything you want.
  7. You get free beer, wine, soda, etc. from 11-11 so there should be someone there.
  8. They have cans of coke products. No Freestyle machine if that's what you mean.
  9. This. I used to book nothing but GTY's and we almost always changed them... no charge, no problem. Most recent experience was last October.
  10. It was actually fine on Wonder in June but I'm not picky. Unusually crispy. Served its purpose as usual.
  11. Just so no one is confused, this is in reference to a question being asked on a recent survey about willingness to pay for Sorrento's. Sorrento's currently remains free.
  12. I’ll take my chances with the iguana. He’s way more mellow than the other creatures.
  13. I dunno, CocoCay has aggressive wild chickens and lemon sharks.
  14. I'm not sure this is the type of forum for my usual response to that.
  15. As long as you've been on Voyager/Freedom class, you'll adapt. Many areas will be familiar... the promenade, MDR, main theater, ice rink, casino, pool deck, solarium, WJ, etc. aren't all that different, just a bit bigger with some different layouts. Just think of the additional locations as just that... additional locations. If you get off on deck 6 you'll find the Boardwalk with Playmakers, Dog House, and Aqua Theater. Deck 8... the lovely central park, which is just like an outdoor promenade with more dining, a bar, and some stores. Also a good place to cross the ship from forward to aft. The hard part, of course, is deciding where to eat, what to see, and when to do it all, lol... and that takes research and some trial and error. I had no idea we'd love Mason Jar brunch or that it would be a popular bar at night til I was there. Hope you have a great cruise! I can't wait to get back on Wonder (as you can tell from my signature).
  16. Thanks and you're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it but I think I need to find a happy medium to break up my long-winded-ness. I don't normally even have a bunch of pictures when it's just me and my wife... other family members airdropped theirs at the end of this cruise. I'd like to do another semi-live report when we go back on in March (can't get here soon enough) but I'll have to force myself to start taking pictures and/or enlist my wife's assistance. I'm sure Christmas on Wonder will be amazing!
  17. I've asked about this since we turn D+ after our next cruise. Yes, it has to be booked onboard (at the full price but still worth it obviously). Most everyone has also told me you can book any nights you want, you just have to make your reservations on day one or two.
  18. Once connected to the ship's wifi, if you open the app and click the internet button, it's pretty self explanatory. You will just be asked for basic info like name and cabin number.
  19. The extra one foot (I assume that's what they're doing since they usually do) over Wonder is your cut off? 🤣
  20. You may need to mention the port. You can definitely do this at Port Canaveral and I would assume all ports but I don't want to be an ASSumer as I'm only familiar with PC.
  21. Agreed. Also a snack shack nearby. Since I care about food and we prefer to sit by the pool, our preferred spot is by the pool with a short walk to Chill Grill, a Snack Shack, and the Oasis Bar.
  22. You're likely seeing the current sailing in the app when you look this far out, not yours, or it's just inaccurate. Of course there will be breakfast the whole cruise. It will not be accurate until much closer to your sailing and some stuff will not fully update until your embarkation morning (more of the activity stuff).
  23. The house band played on Wonder... they were... not great.
  24. You can speak freely... it's awful! The Walmart brand I've made at home in my Mr. Coffee tastes better.
