  1. Same. Although we also recently gave an extra tip at the end of the cruise to our favorite SL bartender because he made us multiple drinks everyday (some were voucher drinks during the day, others during happy hour) and went above and beyond in multiple ways. He was also one heck of a nice guy and made excellent drinks.
  2. The Black Friday sale is primarily on certain cruise planner items, not cruises themselves. You're better off checking the GGG sale flier as it gets closer to November.
  3. Hey, save some of those "across the hall interiors" for actual interior dwellers! Some of us prefer that outer hallway ya know. 😉 To the OP... I agree with all of the above who suggested a 2nd cabin. 4 adults (17, same thing) sharing any standard cabin with one bathroom is rough!
  4. You can use this tool to look at the cruise planner for any cruise...
  5. I just leave them in the bank envelope and take it in our carry-on bag in a little zippered bag/pouch thing that I'm not even sure where it came from. Whatever works.
  6. Going to the bank for a large amount of singles is one of my favorite pre-cruise rituals. I always assume the bank teller thinks I'm going to a strip club (no judgment of course).
  7. D'oh. Yes, they should be able to. The suite part left my brain after your CK question was already answered. My bad.
  8. The "Entertainment" tab should be just to the right of the "Onboard Activities" tab.
  9. Shows will likely appear as "sold out" online but they hold back a % of reservations for booking onboard so you can try ti book them as soon as your board... or just use the standby line. The only show that will be a little tougher to get into is adult comedy b/c the venue is so small.
  10. The receipts for voucher drinks definitely varies... a lot I didn't get a single paper receipt on Wonder in June. The SL bartenders (especially one who was both a great guy and made amazing drinks) knew us but no one else did.
  11. There is no set, guaranteed time for entertainment to open. In general, it's usually 30-60 days out, often early in the month before your cruise month (like you said) but not necessarily on the 1st. Just keep checking. Mine opened exactly 30 days out for my Wonder June 4th sailing.
  12. Two buffets... Chill Grill and Skipper's Grill. They're identical. Good taco bar with freshly made tortillas, a few hot sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, salads, fruit, cookies, brownies, soft serve. Snack shack food is great but stop skipping the rest! 😁
  13. You find some interesting deals. Maybe it's the solo thing or sailing during less busy times of year or it not being Wonder... or your TA likes you better than mine. 🤣 J/K on that last part obviously. I had him price a neighborhood balcony for one cruise for which we already had an interior on hold at what we considered a good price. It wasn't that much more plus it came with a specialty dinner for 2. It was a better deal on paper... but we really don't use our balcony (even when it's OV) so even paying a small amount more really wasn't worth it to us. If the prices were the same we probably would have taken it.
  14. Park Cafe has paninis. The flavors rotated on Wonder last month but they usually have a 3-cheese panini which is pretty much a grilled cheese. As long as they press them long enough, I'm a big fan (my favorite is the cuban but can't go wrong with 3-cheese).
  15. We went in reverse... started with balconies for our first few cruises then got my wife to try an interior and thankfully she liked it. Come back to the caves! They're cozy and wonderfully dark and cold when you want to sleep.
  16. That might be the only thing we saved a bit on... food. My wife is picky and eats no seafood and we tend to eat in casual places anyway. I was in charge of finding land-based restaurants for dinner so we mostly ate at bar food type places with big menus so I could still get halibut or salmon or something while she had a burger or chicken fingers. I also had reindeer sausage several times (in an omelet, on a pizza, etc.) I tried to at least have seafood or something else fairly unique as much as I could.
  17. We did our first B2B on Indy last July. It was very simple. You'll get instructions for everything.
  18. No one can answer that. Past sales do not guarantee what this year’s sale will look like. Many things are continuing to increase in price so who knows what the base price or sale price will be by November?
  19. That's the old link. New link: https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/Promotions/rci_sales_event_USD.pdf
  20. Sorry things didn’t go as planned. You’ll have a great time when you go but the fewer limitations the better. And I’m sure you’ll have a great time wherever that takes you. I think you know from our past interaction we mostly just sail around the Caribbean frugally (or what now passes for frugal with current prices on Wonder at least) and never have a bad cruise. So when I say Alaska is worth spending extra time/money on, it means something.
  21. Ah, ok, thanks. Never sailed during a major holiday.
  22. Huh? I have specialty dining reservations open for next March, June, & July.
