  1. You're not the one missing something but I think you already know that. Bizarre.
  2. LOL, I only do one of those things for my own house (grocery shopping). I love my in-laws and am grateful for the family cruises, but let's not get crazy!
  3. Mega Millions is $820M tonight. We may join you yet. 🤣
  4. Different strokes... we sail interiors all the time and like them, mostly b/c we see our cabin as a place to sleep, shower, and change. Wife also likes how dark and cold they get for an occasional afternoon cat nap. We Royal Up'd to a promenade view once on Indy last year for a very tiny amount for the heck of it and didn't care for the cabin layout or the parade noise.
  5. That's an understatement. We've been joking about how my mother-in-law got credit for our honeymoon cruise 21 years ago. If she was onboard, we sure didn't see her. 🤣
  6. Who wants a collection of cars and houses instead of more cruises? We're ready to cash out our house and go live with my wife's parents but for some reason they don't like the idea. 🤣 I offered to pay them rent and chip in for utilities... no luck. 🤷‍♀️
  7. Your concierge should be able to help. When not in a suite, this is standard policy.
  8. Insignificantly small subjective sample size, of course, but it could be that brunch is much better than dinner. When our extended family had brunch last month, my wife and I were thinking it was a test run for future cruises when it's just us and we traditionally only do specialty for a couple dinners, never lunch. She tried stuff she would order at dinner (she's very picky, doesn't really eat BBQ) while I'll eat almost anything. I loved some of the breakfasty items and she said she'd happily eat her items at lunch for half the price so we switched plans to stick with brunch (based on that experience, not because of reviews).
  9. 🎵 This is the thread that will never end… It goes on and on my friend. 🎵
  10. I’m still trying to figure out why the restaurant has such mixed reviews. I’ve only had brunch there but it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had on a ship. Maybe dinner isn’t as good (although I enjoyed the dinner items we tried at brunch) or it’s just the subjective nature of food opinions. We plan to have brunch there on every future Wonder/Utopia sailing we book (or already have). Agree about the band & bar being a hit. I only popped in to grab a drink to go but it was packed. Band was great during brunch & even took a request from my 9 year old niece then came by our table when they finished their set. Tip: Feel free to ask them to play non-country if so inclined. I’ve heard some funny stories.
  11. I've never ever seen my own points, only my wife's.
  12. Their parents' points should also show as theirs, just as I see my wife's points when I login to my account because she has more than me. That's not my actual point total but it is what should and does appear in my account. If I call and ask, C&A can give me my actual point total but it's irrelevant unless I sail alone or my wife gets sick of me. 🙈
  13. Or the price was right or you'd rather not be traveling from city to city or you like performing on cruises or... any number of reasons. I've never had the opportunity to ask a comedian who stayed onboard for a month why he chose to do so and I don't generally speak for others or presume why they make career choices.
  14. Paul Ogata was hilarious. The other guy, not so much, which is why I don't remember his name, lol. There's still plenty of merit to the other answer you got, btw. You never know who will be onboard or if they'll be funny. We've seen everything from hilarious to awful.
  15. Everything is relative and a "good rate" doesn't mean it has to be the lowest it ever was. Not everyone is in a position to book cruises as soon as they are released. You may not consider them "good rates" but I'm happy with most of the prices I got for 2024 and 2025 and they were booked over the past few months. They're all insanely higher now (at least compared to the inflated website prices).
  16. There are great free water slides/splash zone type stuff for kids that young.
  17. Not recently. One of the comedians we saw on Wonder in early June had been onboard for at least a month. Some things have changed from the past.
  18. 1. Yes. 2. Yes. 3. I don't think you should HAVE TO call but I probably would. 4. No kids but errors like this aren't uncommon. 5. Assume nothing when dealing with Royal customer service, especially via the phone. It's inconsistent... and that's putting it kindly. If you get a rep who seems clueless, just thank them, hang up, and call back. That said, yes, at 18, his points should revert to his own.
  19. I'm not familiar with day bed policies, never purchased or considered one, sorry. I'm sure someone else can help.
  20. No. There currently is no adult only area on CocoCay. They are constructing one as we speak and I believe it is expected to be done towards the end of this year.
  21. The glacier we hiked and my wife ice climbed on in 2018 was already drastically smaller within a couple years. She used to follow the company we used on social and it was sad to see. We'll eventually go back and I'm sure we'll still love it but I'm glad we splurged and went when we did and did all the stuff that we did.
  22. @orville99 Sorry to hijack for a quick question... I knew they mostly lined up but didn't get to check out WJ dinners as I was with extended family on Wonder last month. Did you visit or eat there for dinner at all? General thoughts? We'll be going go there a few nights per cruise once it's just my wife and I so just curious as we have 4 future Wonder cruises booked. Thanks.
  23. Prices in general are nuts now and weekends are, unfortunately, always inflated. GL with your decision.
