  1. I hope they continue to enforce it, especially in the comedy club as some of the language isn’t meant for young children.
  2. Lots of people do it seems….. I don’t even use the free spins we get with loyalty…in fact I just remembered we get that. Casinos are too smoky for us to go in and we never even walk through, we change decks if we need to get somewhere and it would mean walking through it.
  3. Same way you may start with an inside cabin and gradually move up to a suite. It’s hard to go back..
  4. We also heard this a long time ago, at least a year ago. I’ll get excited when construction of a new smaller ship begins. We love the Radiance class ships, but they’re definitely showing their age ☹️
  5. Although ours was booked as a 14 day, it looks like it’s two 7 night cruises. Vancouver to Seward and Seward to Vancouver. So different ports on each. No repeats.
  6. Yes we booked an Alaska cruise on the new ship Nova. Pricy, but hoping it’s as special as it looks to be. We also liked the all inclusive that even includes excursions and door to door service.
  7. I knew about this, but by the time they make a decision and then build a new class of ship, many loyal customers may have already moved on to other lines that they didn’t know they would like as much as they do now, so why go back…
  8. I have, and booked it….i also booked 4 Celebrity cruises, but have not booked any new Royal cruises and unless anything really special comes along, I don’t plan to….which is sad, it’s like losing a comfortable friend
  9. I just read in the Royal group that they are having the same difficulties with the website.
  10. We’re new to Celebrity, always cruised Royal. We have cruises booked on 3 different ships, Apex, Silhouette and Ascent. I see they have more than one complimentary restaurant included. How does that work if you have early dining on the reservation? I’m totally confused, because Royal only had 1 Main Dining Room and with early seating I never had to make any reservation. Do we need to book regular dining meals in each venue for each day or just decide to move around at our choice each day and show up at our 6pm time?
  11. I had seen your post on your thread and bought them from Amazon that same day. So now when I use them I think of you 😁
  12. Possibly the early long lines for MTD are because some like to eat a bit earlier than the 6:45 start time, and weren’t able to book early dining, know when those that DID have early dining but are too late, or not coming at all because they’re eating at a specialty place, the MTD line gets their table. Why else would someone with MTD stand in line starting at the early dining time.
  13. By “checked bags” you mean when you give your bag to the porter to bring into the ship?
  14. I know for a fact Odyssey does….weve used them
  15. I always bring an old hotel card to keep in the slot, which doesn’t always work, but on Odyssey our room steward already had a card in there when we boarded.
  16. He didn’t goof off…..I bothered him this week 😜
  17. Maybe I’m missing something. Firstly, don’t think the SL is something so special that I would go to the trouble I see in the “Cabin Creativity” ideas above, just to bring a non P in and then have to use my vouchers for their drinks! We don’t even use the CL for our drinks, we would rather get them at bars with music and other activities. I think drinks from bartenders are made better anyway. Secondly, CK isn’t as good as it used to be IMO, I mean it’s ok, but not great enough for the hoops to jump through so non P friends can join for dinner. My impression is that with all they took away from Ps, they think this will make up for it… just my humble opinion.
  18. So will they have someone standing at the door checking seapass cards……
  19. If you’re cruising from Europe - which usually says 6 pm - it will be 5:30.
  20. In the 2020 World event we had about 10 cruises cancelled. We got back everything we paid but it was a bit confusing to figure out whichcruise and excursions the dribbles of money were applied. Last year we were booked on a Holy Land cruise and a week before we sailed, the unrest started. Royal had only 7 days to rearrange our cruise and all the other cruises they had on other ships, which was a difficult thing because they weren’t the only cruise line in that area. They did a fabulous job and we had a wonderful, safe cruise. I won’t let fear of something that may or may not happen affect my life, or I would never walk out the door, and things can happen while I’m safe and sound in my home too.
  21. Looks beautiful and peaceful….wish I was there. Thanks for the beautiful pics and enjoy!
  22. I don’t watch or read any news…..is something other than the Oscars (which I also don’t watch) going on in LA?
  23. In the past we’ve been able to board with the suites when we stayed in a JS.
  24. Welcome to CC. We’ve been to Labadee many times, and there has always been issues in Haiti. Royal would never put their passengers in danger. Believe me I’m not blind to some of the things Royal does that I don’t agree with, but putting thousands of people in danger is never going to happen. Royal changed the ports on our Holy land cruise last year only a week before we sailed due to the issues there and they managed to keep us safe, while providing us the cruise we all wanted. That had to be a huge effort, we weren’t the only cruise line or ship that was in the area. But they did it. If they thought for a millionth of a second that Labadee was not secure, they would just skip the port and change to coco cay.
