Down-Unders

We are just off the Queen Elizabeth and she looks stunning inside and out, in Princess Grill and any small problems sorted out,unfortunately people complain but do nothing about it whilst on board. Go with an open mind and if you are not happy approach senior members of staff in a professional way, they have the best customer service onboard that is one of the reasons we travel Cunard.

We had to order A La Carte by lunchtime for Princess Grill if you wanted it for that night, also had in in our room service. Queen Elizabeth looks great.

Oh dear!

We are just off Queen Elizabeth in Princess Grill and there were some things that we were not happy about, but in true Cunard Customer Service tradition everything was sorted out, for instance we asked for an umbrella and two minutes later they arrived. Met a gentle man who was unhappy with his cabin position, did he go down to the front desk and see if it could be changed, NO he was happy to complain and do nothing about it.

We are just off Queen Elizabeth got good information of our TV screen and a detailed map was on deck 10, Captain Howarth gave midday information how far we had traveled etc then first or second officer would give out weather information. Before each port on the daily programme was the weather forecast. Yokohama to Vancouver there was not too may ships to be seen but on one occasion a small cruise ship came close enabling me to ring the front desk and get all its details.

Just off Queen Elizabeth and there were dance hosts mostly male and one female. That was Yokohama to Vancouver don't know if that will apply during summer but don't see why not.

One time we could not buy a mask onboard I suggest you bring one with you, just off the Queen Elizabeth Yokohama to Vancouver and the masquerade evening brought out some great passenger outfits. We dressed formal on the evening, enjoy the Queen Elizabeth she is certainly looking like a Queen!

With respect to your husband my wife and I hear this regularly whilst cruising, think it is time these fellas thought less about themselves and more for their partners and make it a special occasion especially travelling on Cunard.

This sounds strange for Japanese passengers, our experience travelling with them is delightful both with manners and the way they dress. Did you mention you were not happy to the maitre'd , with great respect we meet many passengers who will not speak up. Other lines I certainly have and thankfully on Cunard only once when one particular passenger came to breakfast in a gown. This is why we travel on Cunard wonderful one day perfect the next!
