d - I have had this bottle for five (5) years and it was a group birthday gift (idea of cost that five (5) people chipped in to purchase it). I Am told that in the area where I Am currently living there is only one (1) liquor store that carries a limited supply... I plan on going there in the next few weeks to find out definitely if they do and if I need to have five (5) people chip in to help me purchase it... LOL I will let you know the details for sure... I would as well, as a passenger, with behviour shown as described. I always suggest that if we want better, faster and more direct service we need to bring our own staff aboard to supplement what X has available... Oh, I forgot, most of us do not have staff to bring, we only go on cruises or AI's to snap our fingers or give commands as if we did... LOL Cheers and bon voyage

never - I keep forgetting about those groups as I do not belong to any of them and rarely use that social media site... Based on previous comments on CC, those posters can be just as viscous and non-forgiving and non-relenting as some posters here can be... Guess some place is needed for 'unfiltered' griping and the like. That steers me away from such groups as they become a free for all, while I Am sure there is some legitimacy to complaints (well, the emphasis is on some)... It is no wonder that I do think about them, thank goodness that there is a policy of no mentioning of those groups here... can you imagine??? LOL I believe a 'casualty' for those of us who have been on CC for a while get to know the serial posters who may have left X or threaten to leave and drone on about the reasons for leaving. Their right to do so, just as long as there is no direct malicious intent to malign either X or other posters here... I believe you have a point on which to reach out to Corporate on, the comparison between two (2) ships... Call The Presidents Office to relate your experience and comparison between the two (2) and get their input and feed back on this... You have a good case, for sure... In health and bon voyage

A "few" of the basic rules are: 1) mini fridge not included in any package; 2) you can get soft beverages from most bars, in a can or a bottle and take wherever you choose; 3) no souvenir cups, I have seen to date; and, 4) if you request a beverage not on your package, you pay the difference in cost plus gratuity. There are more, yet, these are the essential things you need to know... for now. I Am sure there are others and more seasoned passengers on beverage packages will chime in for sure... sb - The 12 yo is (was) available on the PBP... and can be found at Al Bacio (I had a shot each afternoon with my oolong tea and special baked good) and at Cellar Masters. After day two (2) the bartender at CM was also working at AB, she brought over the 20 yo for me to have with my tea.... needless to say, as she rewarded me I rewarded her with a great detailed by name review on the comment card and emailed survey. Of course not mentioning the great up-grade I received... LOL Cheers and bon voyage

A response I have to those of us upset over the closing of bars while in Grand Cayman, I did a quick search of X's C of C and no where does it state that we are entitled to have 'cocktails' even with a package... whenever we want them. If it is in there, please point it out to me. Would those upset by this, agree to pay a surcharge to cover the taxes and duties on alcohol while in port? If so, what would that limit be, $1, $3, $5, $15+ per drink??? As a drinker, I would be taken aback by this, but only for about 10 minutes while I figure out where the closest AA meeting on the island is were I so upset about the law, at least the Government does not force ships to go dry while in port... Mike - that is exactly what I do... as well, I also ask for items off menu which I know they can make without challenge, like stir-fry's, vegetable risotto, dahl and the like... I have had very few challenges, overall. bon appetit and bon voyage

Nahh, I think you want to be convinced as to the reason you need to return to X for the food, when clearly you may not be enjoying it... This results in a "polite" fight as in 'you are wrong and I Am right, now explain to me about this...' When in reality, the comment card is the place to go for serious and great issues along with the reason(s) you will not sail X again. Hopefully you would get a call from The Office inquiring for additional info on your observations. Just putting words in your mouth, so sorry about that... bon appetit and bon voyage
