  1. Okay, my question is, where do I find the PUP's I have or needed to earn? I had completed a few of the activities and do not know how to figure it out... TIA and bon voyage
  2. nag only were we drinking together, I might let loose!!! LOL Cheers and bon voyage
  3. I get to drink alcohol which I would not normally have at home... and get to try new ones as well... Drinking as much as I can does not necessarily equate to being drunk, usually. Cheers and bon voyage
  4. b - I resemble this comment... LOL Cheers and bon voyage
  5. Given the ratings from that passenger, it makes me wonder if they meant to book a RCL or CCL sailing??? bon voyage
  6. I Am totally sure here in the US, there are similar cities/counties with that demographic... LOL bon voyage
  7. + see if you can have snacks and cocktails delivered while there as it will be far more exciting than watching a movie... LOL I have done that, sat at GS to listen, and it was amazing the "tales" as to the reason auto grats were being removed... bon voayge
  8. They are back, soon, very soon. bon voyage
  9. cg - I look forward to your review... bon voyage
  10. I believe you are in the U.S., the phone number to use for FBC is ‪(800) 533-7803‬. You will need to provide your cruise reservation number. I have not had an issue calling between 7.30a - 6p est at least... bon voyage
  11. ip was that you??? LOL Instead of re-ordering, it was easier to dress down a staff member... go figure. bon appetit and bon voyage
  12. Not at all, I catch them and understand, fully, the reports of X's cutbacks. My post was about the "reconnaissance" being done surreptitiously and not being referenced here, then again it is not about that after all, right? Those issues for those passengers are not as valid as those for X passengers who miss foods we are accustomed to having aboard, I take it? I think it is great that one would minimize another passengers concerns over another because the scenario is not the same, yet all the same complaints especially from passengers who decidedly pay a bit more for their sailing than the average X passenger does not matter vs expectation(s)? Valid or not. Just as I view that X passengers have the right to complain about cutbacks over those made at RCL or Carnival... My perspective, to be sure, yet does that make it not a good complaint because I do not have a desire to sail those lines? We forgot to mention the cheese issue, too... oh my!!! Were I to test these types of postings on another forum, you can believe I would come back and report what I was reading compared to this one, good, bad or indifferent. If we are making short shrift of those complaints, then complaints need to be short shrifted by those who believe they need be, also. IMO bon appetit and bon voyage
  13. I do want to point out that one of our prolific posters, on this topic, started one similar on another board with disastrous (IMO) replies there, yet I have not read here (unless I missed it) where current/recent passengers report that there are cutbacks, poor service, illnesses being reported of gastro intestinal disturbances from eating at the buffet and named dishes which did not meet expectations... I take it that when postings did not confirm suspicion that this situation was exclusive to X, no need to talk about the findings here... Talking about contrasting and comparing.... Anyone hear of noro virus, currently, spreading on X's ships? I Am sure it could be to some degree, but not posted here yet... this was reported on the posters thread in at least one (1) instance. The issue for me here, is the un-even handedness of addressing X's cutbacks and not reporting back on other lines especially when a 'specific' thread was created there for this. bon appetit and bon voyage
  14. pb you have taken the bait... That would have made for great conversation with friends after returning home!!! LOL bon voyage
  15. @Sox Fan Cruiser actually, I think you may want to wait until you board to see what daily activities the ship is offering too, as something may be of interest there... That way, you have open times and you and your guests can do what they may want to do, nothing possibly, but sit around and people watch....??? bon voyage
  16. @MarkE You may want to take a look at the Bermuda Forum here on CC.... for other questions, which may be answered already, too, for this great trip!!! bon voyage
  17. ... and it will be a minute before you are in the Caribbean... bon voyage!!!
  18. Not to worry... good laugh at least. I think if you bring mid-weight jackets or a heavy sweater all will be good for being outside on deck. Know that there are usually blankets for those who desire them no matter where you are outside, if not, get one from one of the crew members or bring from your cabin. Also, you may want to take a gander at the Alaska forum here on CC, great information and guidance there... we found it invaluable for our sailing. bon voyage
  19. Yes, it depends on the country you will embark from and countries visited if you can bring them ashore. Check the prohibited items at each countries website for accurate and current info. In health and bon voyage
  20. LOL, no, it was in response to your steerage comment... Sorry for misleading you and anyone else with my comment... bon voyage
  21. sq you mean to say that you did not squirrel that pillow in your "new" carry on luggage??? LOL Happy to know you had a great sailing AND a great sleep.... bon voyage
  22. In this case you are quite correct IMO, yet each sailing cost differentials will be different. You were quite fortunate to get this deal, for sure and it is a good one, too... bon voyage
  23. We were in the life boats on our Millie sailing and had the good fortune to be invited to the helipad for glacier viewing, while I do not remember blankets or hot chocolate being served up, I do remember the mimosas and champagne as @Married90had... LOL While it was a bit chilly, a nice warm jacket would be in order, if you are at the helipad or if you go to the pool deck a quick in and out of the OVC or sky lounge will be fine, as the ship makes several 360° turns so everyone can have a view even from your cabin... Have a great sailing... bon voyage
  24. dk - I can guarantee you that I will not start a thread over it... LOL bon voyage
