  1. tr - I would not go out of my way for this. It appears, to me, that there is an ongoing nuanced fight over what is reduced or changed and using those aboard currently to support all per-conceived desires to take X down over same... Those of us who want to do this, need to either sail and submit the 'evidence' directly to X OR just move on and leave X behind because of these known or believed issues, yet to have those aboard currently to continuously provide evidence is going beyond the pale IMO!!! If you choose to, let us know how you are enjoying the food and offerings in Luminae... and how YOU enjoy it is all that matters, at least to me and a few others. Thank you again for your postings in the other thread, as well... bon appetit and bon voyage
  2. Yes, I do order salad as well, in addition to an entree which could be ratatouille, dahl, tofu and vegetable stir fry etc... No need for me to wait and see what is on the menu for any particular night, as some items take some time to prepare so advance notice of my wants is on order... Thus creating my own menu, even in the Specialty Restaurants... works for me, yet I understand it does not for everyone... bon appetit and bon voyage
  3. It is an option and I get most special requests I want and desire.... No cut backs on my dining menu... bon appetit and bon voyage
  4. Something which has not been mentioned yet, if you patronize the same bar and bartender often enough, they will most likely remember what your preferences are and as such no specific request needed after a few days... Sometimes, you can request an upgrade for a particular drink without surcharge, YMMV!!! On my last Summit sailing the bartender often upgraded my Macallan to the 20yo without really asking and at no additional surcharge, in this case it would have been full price for this specific level. Find your perfect bar and enjoy... Cheers and bon voyage
  5. I must say, that for a few Americans who post here, it is greener as they may not often see anything from the BBC and the like to enjoy it... Also, those here on this forum who do not post about the shows may not go to shows when sailing, so that does not affect them at all... just those who like to go. As for The Lido, many would prefer "reduced" hours vs "reduced" offerings, I can only surmize. Thank you for the observation(s) from other pastures here on CC... have or dare you glisten what other social media postings are about in this area, that is if it is of interest to you??? Like myself, others here have not or at least not yet... LOL bon voyage
  6. I Am sure that there are more than a few of us here on CC and "other" social media sites who have contacts in the "mainstream" media who can get it out and then some... bon voyage
  7. I know you will let us know your thoughts after the sailing... Enjoy and bon voyage

  13. Hello all, I wanted to confirm with anyone who has tried, that the X App is not optimized for use on Android Tablets, correct??? TIA and bon voyage
  14. Ohhh, how I long to be on any group of sailings for 15+ days... Alas, my spouse would veto it as unsustainable!!! LOL Enjoy and I will be following along, as well... day dreaming of the time!!! YET, Mafia Nation (Buffalo Bills) will win the VL Trophy this year, sorry!!! LOL Thank you and bon voyage
  15. M Class ships are smaller than S Class, M Class have fewer Specialty Restaurants. If you go to X's website you will be able to see more differences there under "Explore Ships" you may have to go back and forth between the classes, but many of the physical differences will be readily apparent... bon voyage
  16. No need to ask for forgiveness... At X's website, CBP $89/ pp pd, PBP $109/ pp pd, plus 20% gratuities on each package, as such, it would be $20/ pp pd plus 20% gratuities for each passenger upgrading. As I understand it, ZPB included in PBP. Cheers and bon voyage
  17. Yes, that would garner a call from me and up the food chain at HQ for sure... bon voyage
