  1. https://www.coaster101.com/2019/06/22/inside-360-degree-universal-sphere-dome-theater/ I was hoping for this
  2. Did you catch the sculpted whale up in the ceiling? Kool! 1:42 in the vid.
  3. No it's not, you weren't paying attention, they can project anything literally anything inside there hopefully. My thoughts were get up of a morning, the day of the week is displayed along with the ocean if a sea day or the port of call etc. Boarding day, vids of all of the activities on your cruise etc.
  4. But milk isn't of any concern to me whatsoever............There are plenty of things that are important to me and it doesn't look like griping is helping in those areas at all!
  5. I don't even wonder, what difference does it make. I love cruising...anyway. I've been remarking about the high pricing on ICON, did it stop me booking....NOT!
  6. I can tell you they do indeed pay attention to these boards, I spoke with Laly Rodrigues about that and she said "Yes, I noticed that", so even the head of Customer Services company wide at least gets reports from a flunky about it.
  7. PRAGMATIC: dealing with things sensibly and realistically in a way that is based on practical rather than theoretical considerations So another way of saying, "it is what it is" and that is simple. I call it a good attitude.
  8. Yes, but a critic CAN give a good review!
  9. We also did it for the bonus credit on the card, but we've never used it much as it just doesn't pay many points at all. We've had it now for 10 yrs.
  10. Still checking every morning Mike, hasn't so far! All this angst helps the time pass though, LOL Like "Did you find the treasure today?" 🤣
  11. I'll find out next Thursday! But still no joy...so relieved it does say OCEANVIEW BALCONY GTY!. There are just singles left mostly, even suites. Just about full up! Only 4 Crown Lofts left. If they truly haven't assigned us yet, wouldn't they have to upgrade it to suite. That's what I understand, it has to be Oceanview Balcony "or better". Wonder if that has happened at all to anyone? Anyone?
  12. Crowds don't bother me at all, but the price does. We've been on numerous Oasis class cruises on all the sisters and crowds were not a problem. The only place I ever notice lots of people are after shows and that is fleetwide even on small ships. But having to pay $6K plus for something you just booked on Allure for $1449 is retarded! SOOOO glad we booked when we did so at least we can do her once. I feel she is going to be the flag ship and everybody will want to sail her eventually. So hope they reduce drastically. Can't wait until we start getting reviews and to watch the agents cruise or Inaugural on Youtube!! going to watch the Pearl video right now!
  13. Hey Chris, we'll be there Sept. 14th next year! Our second cruise with you. Maybe I'll even spend some bucks in the casino! LOL
  14. To each his own...remember Hot Chocolate used to be consumed without any sugar. Yuk. I was introduced to coffee at a very young age along with the "It'll turn your tummy black" admonition which didn't scare me a bit, who cares if your tummy is black. And my Granny would always make it with HH, and sugar. Or Half milk and sugar. Or the Pet milk, "Pet...from contented cows" LOL So that's why I don't like it black or "uncontaminated" 😜
  15. That's what I said, isn't anything in a can also referred to as "tinned"?
  16. Gotta relate a story here. When we were in Bonaire we sat down at a little cafe on the wharf and I asked for a cappuccino...they brought me an espresso, I said "where's the milk?" He looked at me like I was flippin crazy. " Nobody drinks that here" finally he did bring me some milk in a glass and I poured it in my espresso...lol. Bonaire is Dutch.
  17. Bingo! The official definition according the the National Dairy Association: Half and half is simply a mixture of equal parts whole milk and cream Everyone will, and should, make their choices as they seem fit. Of course. Believe it or not back in the day my Grandaddy used evaporated milk (that's tinned milk to you brits) in his coffee and I grew up loving it, still do on occasion, anything that comes from a cow is just OK with me. Sorta like bacon, gotta love it!
  18. Because its called single cream over there! Yeah yeah, couldn't resist..............so sue me.
  19. Why is that, nothing touches anything, what could contaminate anything. Picking up a clean glass then filling it is no different than refilling your old Coke mug, you touched both items, but it didn't touch anything on the machine, but YOU did pushing buttons or holding the glass/cup etc. Doesn't make a lick o' sense to me. 😅 Funny to me, everybody touches everything else on a ship, handrails, door panels door knobs, etc and think they are sanitary. Nothing is really sanitary, nothing, unless you count NASA clean rooms or hospital surgeries and even then.....ya.....hospitals are some of the dirtiest and germiest places on the planet. Flame away..........
  20. If you're really interested you can follow The Traveling Gamblers on You Tube, they are avid ship casino gamblers on all the lines. They win a lot and they cruise free A LOT! Plus she does really good reviews.
  21. Contact Laly at: ayera-rodriguez@rccl.com Aurora "Laly" Yera-Rodriguez Director, Guest Relations & Shared Services Celebrity Cruises, & Royal Caribbean International 954-628-9313 ext. 19313
  22. It better drop or nobody will be able to sail her. We booked the night she opened and our cabin has doubled in price since then, never did I think I'd have to be paying approximately 6K plus change for a balcony. And that is the cheaper month of Sept. Thank goodness we booked when we did. It will be the most expensive cruise ever for us with Alaska in a primo aft balcony on Solstice costing half of the current quote for a central balcony, infinity at that! I think she'll be worth it but probably only once. Our current Allure balcony gty only cost us $1449 out of Galveston. For what they're quoting I'd expect a Crown Loft.
