Ditto, that always settles it for us. Soooo wanted to book her but you're right, just nothing justifies it for us. And we haven't even done Wonder yet. ICON is now out of reach so I'm so glad I got ours in October our cabin is already $800 more per person!!!!!!!. Forget the Inaugural, guess we're just not destined to do one...ever. I just checked and on My Cruises the RU is available for our cruise already 59 days out so I put in 3 bids all of $120 2pps-total on 3 different oceanview cabins, we had an interior before. Hoping to get the Spacious Ocean View. We'll see. The balconies were $175pp min. so Hubs wouldn't go that high. This was a tween cruise so we took an interior to save bucks. Won't be too bad if we at least snag a window! LOL

I'm hoping we get one next month for our Allure Sept. 3rd sailing, but sailing out of Texas, not much chance they're always so full. But hope to try anyways. We've only gotten one and have tried on almost every cruise within the last 3 years.

We access it with our phones.........we live pretty remotely in Arkansas, storms came through yesterday that jacked with the electricity, the only consequence was I couldn't play my games, but we can access data from the cloud with the phone, no problem.

We are heavy Alexa users, even our lights are controlled by Alexa...but with switch backup, my hubs is all about redundancy. But he is highly techy, so we have every device known to man LOL And if people are scared by that, if you use an iphone or Samsung phone, you are being tracked, watched and recorded in some cases, so using Alexa is no more of a threat than carrying around a phone, who doesn't.

But that doesn't affect the Cloud which is an offsite storage source. My hubs is a tech/consultant, that is why we are so redundant.

My backup is in the Cloud...not a chance of that. We have a server as well, between those two and both our computers, no way to lose it. But my mind is the tool I put my trust in. Like I said, I always know when the date is for the next upcoming. Sept. is already paid, Voyager for the first 2024 final is Dec. 11th. Don't remember what Sept. 24th ICON is but I will around Jan. 1st.

This. She was mostly ticked because she lost that balcony...whether at her own ineptitude or what. I kept asking her, you never look at your invoice??? We have cruised with them since 2007! She insisted that's what she has always done. I am just ACD about almost everything, I look at my invoice multiple times during the year or so before the cruise. We book early, pay early, plan early and pack early! LOL I don't even recall if I ever received a reminder, but I know and retain that payment due date like it was a Birthday.

That's what I told her....it was her responsibility. We have done many cruises with her before and she said that has always been what she has done. They have always sent her the email requesting payment. I think something happened with her computer and her email account or something, we did check with RCCL and they said they did send her final notice...she claims she never got them. I'm sure she learned a valuable lesson.

Rules aren't rules if people break them. There are two full pools for those with kids and a dedicated kiddie pool and park. Isn't that enough? Leave the solarium for adults, we deserve it.
