  1. I guess Princess just remembered to feed those carrier pigeons!
  2. Yep! I was on its first segment of the world cruise that started in FLL and did Panama Canal transit to LA. We got off in LA, Pacific Princess continued on and got as far as the Indian Ocean before they canceled the cruise and called it back to the US due to the pandemic. We, too were very disappointed to learn that it had been sold. I know we can go to Azamara and sail her again...but $$$$
  3. I'll bet @Thrak is happy to learn that.... 😄
  4. Hah! No such thing as a "local state department office" around here! We live in a very small town in southeast Tennessee. I assume (?) there must be an office in Atlanta, but every time I looked for an appointment there nothing showed. We did our most recent renewal by mail...it didn't conflict with anything that we had on the books. In getting our Global Entry passes we had to drive to Huntsville, Alabama. Just the downside of living in a small town!
  5. What exactly are you wanting to know? Your question is a bit vague. We stay primarily in mini-suites...
  6. Nice! I wish the US could get its act together like that!
  7. Yes. Make sure you have printed copies of your email with all the info
  8. That is DEFINITELY the best plan to make!
  9. Hmmm...we're talking about people who have *likely* spent several thousand dollars already... But I tend to agree on a $150 price tag. At least *half* that would be more palatable.
  10. The same thing just happened to me! Same cruise! Princess IT and systems never cease to amaze me.
  11. Everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinions. That being said, the gift card offerings from AARP are totally different from the types of services that you mentioned. They are simply serving as "middle-men" in passing along a Princess product. AARP is not providing any type of "service" in doing this other than providing a discounted product. MANY people here on CC have taken advantage of this...most with little to no issues at all.
  12. I'm confused...why would this have any bearing on seeing excursions?
  13. It sounds like we will be cruising together on the Sky for the transatlantic. And...as far as I can see you have no issues with English...(at least for written English.)
  14. The experience of the app is night and day difference before and then during a cruise.
  15. Interesting how every cabin was large enough to accommodate at least 10 people standing around and it *still* did not show any beds! And those aisles were big enough to drive a car through!
  16. My DW told me about the Flash Sale after seeing it mentioned on a FB group. I was able to cancel/rebook excursions for one upcoming cruise and saved almost $700! Wow!
  17. There's a very good possibility that who you were communicating with had no idea who this "Mr. Padgett" was! 😄
  18. You probably already did this...but did you check your spam folder?
  19. As a guy...I usually take my suit jacket but just pair it with *either* a nice button down shirt or sometimes just a polo pullover shirt with a pair of khakis. No tie. Not really formal at all!
  20. "Best" is certainly a very subjective term. It depends on what you are considering in your criteria. The menus are the same in all *main* dining rooms. And...you have the ability to arrange for the same table/wait staff at any MDR...so, not sure how to give you an answer that means anything. Basically, only the decor will be different.
  21. I would think so...it's usually available on most sailings.
