  1. I assume you mean you tried to log into the app... Have you tried the web version? I *always* make our reservations using my desktop PC & Chrome, using the "web version" of the app. SO much easier to see more than one day at a time and see what you're doing!
  2. You should *always* be able to access the app any time you have a BOOKED cruise...does NOT require "Paid in Full".
  3. We *always* pre-order a 12 pack of water for $7.08. Best deal on the ship. I know I can ask for individual bottles at any bar...but I just prefer the convenience of it waiting for me when I get to my cabin. If it's not there yet, just remind the steward that you're supposed to have it. He/she will take care of getting it expedited (in our experience.)
  4. Our TravelPro 26" roller bags are right at 11" high when placed flat on the floor. We always store them under the beds. There's *usually* about another 1" clearance.
  5. That's how I *always* do our dining reservations. Just not enough screen space (in my opinion) to see everything on a phone.

  9. No...you do not need to go anywhere early as in the production shows. They will have you all meet together (probably in the theater) and then guide you to the tender as a group. This is one real advantage of doing a ship excursion.

  13. I just called AAA...they don't do foreign currency any longer, even though it is listed on their website!
  14. I use Chrome as well on a desktop. I also have a Samsung Galaxy S22. The fact that you are having the type of issues you are sharing *really* indicates that you are either on an older version or something has just corrupted the installation. It *seems* to do that quite easily and a reinstall many times will fix it. Clear your cookies on your MacBook in Chrome. You absolutely should not be having web-based issues like that. And...you *should* be able to use your username &password for both web and app. (That may very well be resolved with the app reinstall.) Give some (all?) of that a try and see if at least *some* of your issues are resolved.

  16. Hmmm...interesting. How are you trying to access? 1) Desktop/laptop/tablet/phone 2) If phone, what type (iPhone or Android?) 3) What browser are you using? 4) Can you properly log in using the app? (username/password or booking number?) 5) Have you cleared history & cookies? 6) If using the app, have you uninstalled/reinstalled? These types of details can make a big difference in getting this resolved.

  19. @Kitty Ellas Mom...I *think* I shared this with you at some point in the past (perhaps on the roll call). We were on the Caribbean P just this past February for a partial Panama Canal transit. It was our first time on this ship. We had no issues at all. Enjoyed being on the ship and had a great time. Yes, it is an older ship and as such (if you're looking for them) there will be signs of that age. Paint doesn't cover up everything! Don't let the negative reviews taint your expectations! You *know* you're always going to find where somebody is complaining about something. That's just the nature of a forum like this. It's just like TV news or newspapers...bad news "sells". Just look at it this way... "Any day on a ship is better than a day at home!" 😀
  20. I appreciate all of the answers given so far...but none of them address what I'm trying to do. I prefer to have the foreign currency "in hand" as I step off the plane so that I don't have to deal with trying to find a bank or ATM. (That's just how I'm wired!) Maybe *nobody* orders currency pre-trip...IDK.

  22. People have stated in the past that they wanted to use their FCD to apply. Apparently it *can* be done...but you would be wasting the real value of that FCD. Some cruises have a much higher deposit requirement...but an FCD will cover that deposit. Also, as @skynight states above...you will not receive that OBC...so you are literally throwing money away. You'd have to be pretty desperate to get a booking that way.
  23. My local bank (somewhat small town) *can* order foreign currency, It usually takes 2-3 days before I can pick it up. Plus, they have a processing fee (no surprise) and whet I feel are strict rules. (Must order US $200 worth of currency per order, and you cannot "mix" currency types to make up that $200.) So, any amount of a given currency is going to cost me a minimum of $200 + the fee. I'm getting a bit perturbed at this inflexibility. I know there are places to order online...but I'd like to hear from those that have done so and their experience. It may very well not be any better than what I'm getting now...
